A Month of World Decision Centered in Manhattan

September 17th, 2015

Sept. 10 (EIRNS)-Manhattan will be a center of gravity for the entirety of world history, during an extraordinary month which will begin with a major meeting featuring Lyndon LaRouche and prominent guests in a dialogue with a Manhattan audience this Saturday, Sept. 12, followed by United Nations proceedings culminating in the 70th General Assembly General Debate from Sept. 28-Oct 6. On the first day of that debate, Vladimir Putin is expected to make a proposal for an effective coalition against ISIS and terrorism. Obama would address the General Assembly on the same day, Sept. 28, if he is still President then-but we have it in our hands to ensure that he will no longer be President, having been removed from office by Constitutional means.

The overarching reality which has made all this possible, is the total, irretrievable bankruptcy of the Wall Street-City of London financial system in the world's greatest-ever financial crisis, the terminal systemic breakdown-crisis of which Lyndon LaRouche has been the only economist to have warned with precision, with ever-increasing refinement since the 1960s.

When Wall Street comes down, Obama comes down.

By acting boldly, implicitly with China, to form a real anti-terrorism coalition,- including Syria's legitimately elected President,- to actually defeat ISIS, Putin has called Obama's bluff. Will Obama force the U.S. government to openly protect and back head-chopping terrorists against Russia? Will he pursuehis love-affair with Wahhabite terrorism to the point of threatening nuclear war with Russia for the sake of ISIS? He has already moved openly in that direction during the past two weeks, since Putin's plans become known. If he continues to do so,- as he must, given his nature as a puppet of mad Queen Elizabeth,- he can be easily and readily removed, and he must be removed, by sane elements of the U.S. government acting under the 25th Amendment, spurred into action by the Manhattan-centered forces led by Lyndon LaRouche.

If not, the alternative would be a thermonuclear war launched by Obama
against Russia and China.

A major change has suddenly taken place in world history, and the LaRouche movement must be the transmission-belt of that change. Russia and China have decided that Obama must go. He must be ushered out now. Now we have the opportunity to replace the exploded financial bubble with a Glass-Steagall system. We will sweep the shards of all the successive Bush- Obama bailouts out of the way, and create a national credit-system for the United States. We will create a Franklin Roosevelt-style recovery, albeit under circumstances far more difficult than Roosevelt faced. Federal credit will be emitted for productive employment, through a commercial banking system purged of Wall Street's speculative gambling. Wall Street's skyscrapers will be converted over to productive uses.

Lavrov Challenges Kerry's 'Strange Suggestion' on Syria

Sept. 10 (EIRNS)-Following a phone conversation Wednesday between Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and Secretary of State John Kerry, Lavrov told the press that Kerry had "made a strange suggestion that support of Bashar Assad in the anti-terrorist fight is only strengthening ISIL positions, because ISIL sponsors will provide this organization, in response, with more weaponry, money, and everything needed for fulfilling its sinister plans. This is backward logic and another attempt to help those who are using terrorists in fighting against undesirable regimes. I think this is a big mistake."

It was not reported whether Kerry identified who those "ISIL sponsors" might be, but the world knows well that Obama's pals in Riyadh are the primarysource, and former DIA chief Gen. Michael Flynn revealed last month that Obama had "willfully" created ISIL and other terrorist organizations himself, to do exactly as Lavrov indicated-use terrorists "in fighting against undesirable regimes."

Other Obama-ites backed up Kerry's "strange suggestion." State Department spokesman John Kirby told the press briefing that Kerry had "reiterated ourconcern about these report of Russian military activities or buildup in Syria and made very clear our view that if true and if borne out, those reports could lead to greater violence and even more instability in Syria and were not helpful at all to what eventually the international community should be trying to achieve inside Syria"-presumably referring to what the international community (meaning Bush and Obama) "achieved" in Iraq and Libya.

Anti-Putin Russian military analyst Pavel Felgenhauer ranted that "Russia is piling pressure, playing a blackmail game. They want to push others to consider [Russia's proposal for a broad coalition to fight ISIS/ISIL] more seriously, or else fear that Moscow could use its forces there for other purposes."

Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova was blunt: "We are supposedly harming the fight against terrorism-that is complete rubbish."

More Details Emerge on Military Cooking Intelligence for Obama

Sept. 10 (EIRNS)-As previously reported here, the August 25 New York Times reported that the Department of Defense Inspector General had launched an investigation into whether military intelligence assessments of the effectiveness of the U.S.-led campaign against the Islamic State in Iraq are over-optimistic, and specifically whether officials of U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) "were improperly reworking the conclusions of intelligence assessments prepared for policy makers, including President Obama."

The Daily Beast today provided more information about the IG's investigation, reporting that two intelligence analysts at CENTCOM filed a formal written complaint to the IG in July, supported by more than 50 others who were prepared to back up the allegations from their own experiences. The analysts (some of whom had complained within CENTCOM for several months about politicizing intelligence reports) alleged that "the reports, some of which were briefed to President Obama, portrayed the terror groups as weaker than the analysts believe they are. The reports were said to have been changed by CENTCOM higher-ups to adhere to the administration's public line that the U.S. is winning the battle against ISIS and al-Nusra, al-Qaeda's branch in Syria, the analysts claim."

A Defense official was quoted saying, "The cancer was within the senior level of the intelligence command." Among those accused are the CENTCOM director of intelligence and his deputy. The article reported that some of the complaining analysts are employed by the Defense Intelligence Agency, assigned to work at CENTCOM.

The Daily Beast noted, "The allegations echoed charges that political appointees and senior officials cherry-picked intelligence about Iraq's supposed weapons program in 2002 and 2003." Indeed, some of the complaint's specifics include "that in some cases key elements of intelligence reports were removed, resulting in a document that didn't accurately capture the analysts' conclusions." Analysts also described a work-climate "in which analysts felt they could not give a candid assessment of the situation in Iraq and Syria. Some felt it was a product of commanders protecting their career advancement by putting the best spin on the war. Some reports crafted by the analysts that were too negative in their assessment of the war were sent back down the chain of command or not shared up the chain, several analysts said. Still others, feeling the climate around them, self-censored so [that] their reports affirmed already-held beliefs." It is further reported, that some of those who complained about the situation were urged to retire, and some of them did so.
