London cleans up after third night of violence
Some activists and opposition politicians suggested that government spending cuts had driven disadvantaged and unemployed youths to violence. Others including David Lammy and Diane Abbott, MPs for the affected areas of Tottenham and Hackney, rejected the idea that the government's austerity drive should be blamed for the riots. http://english.aljazeera.net/news/europe/2011/08/201189141323759165.html The cuts to social programs and corporate government induced poverty have nothing to do with it. Allowing the international Federal Reserve banking system to loot trillions from the economy in the name of austerity measures has nothing to do with it.
