That's how many people are expected to travel by car during the Thanksgiving holiday, up from 48 million in 2022, acording to AAA. | In a boon for road trippers, gas prices are off the recent high of $3.86 a gallon in September, hitting $3.26 a gallon Tuesday, just in time for Thanksgiving travel.  Prices are falling due to weakening demand, less-expensive gas blends used during the winter, and oil prices that have fallen for several weeks in a row.
