Gaza remains illegally blockaded despite Israel's pledge to ease it. Large parts of the Strip lie in ruins - almost nine months since last summer's war of aggression ended.
Funds pledged for reconstruction weren't forthcoming. Israel maintains total control over what's allowed in or out.
Humanitarian crisis conditions are longstanding - greatly exacerbated by wars at Israel's discretion.
Living conditions are deplorable. Most Gazans have no electricity 18 or more hours daily. Half a million residents have no running water. Other basic services are woefully inadequate.
Almost half the population is unemployed, including nearly 70% of youths. Around 80% rely on desperately needed humanitarian aid.

On Tuesday, May 12th, U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry was asked at a press conference in Sochi Russia, to respond to Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko’s recent statements promising renewed war against Donbass, which were made first on April 30th, "The war will end when Ukraine regains Donbass and Crimea,” and which were repeated on May 11th, by his saying, “I have no doubt, we will free the [Donetsk] Airport, because it is our land.” In other words, Poroshenko had repeatedly made clear that he plans a third invasion of Donbass, and, ultimately, also to invade and retake Crimea. (The Western press, however, had not reported any of these threats that were being made by Poroshenko.)
Kerry responded:

Israel is a lawless police state. Military censorship bans or sanitizes material it claims harms national security - true or false.
It prohibits information the public has a right to know - despite its High Court rulings limiting content suppression to "tangible (or) near certain" instances of public endangerment.
Official policy is hardline. Fundamental rights are systematically violated. Palestinian protests, demonstrations, marches and gatherings are prohibited.
Free expression is compromised. Classroom materials are rewritten. Criticism of state policy risks recrimination.

We are the crunch period right now on TPP and fast track. The senate begins debate on Tuesday, it could go days or longer than a week. The two parties are fighting about that right now.
This article is about the moment and about how Sen. Sessions did the right thing -- read the TPP and then told about it -- a no-no since the Obama administration has threatened telling people about the contents of TPP could bring criminal charges. Other elected officials should follow Sessions lead and get the truth out -- especially with Obama telling opponents they don't know what they are talking about.

Nuland is hardcore neocon - a rogue Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian affairs/former Dick Cheney deputy national security advisor, among other dubious credentials.
She just visited Kiev - plotting revved up aggression on Donbass residents wanting to live free from the scourge of fascism.
On Sunday, she arrived in Moscow to discuss Ukraine and related issues - claiming she wants to help implement Minsk II ceasefire terms, while at the same time plotting escalated aggression.
Her longstanding dirty hands are notorious. She's an unindicted war criminal. She belongs in prison, not high office.

Macedonia is about to experience Democracy American Style. The nation’s misfortune is simple. It occupies strategic territory of keen interest to the United States and Russia.
“Russia's Stroitransgaz said on Thursday it will build a gas pipeline across Macedonia, which could eventually be used as part of a route to supply Europe with Russian gas via Turkey”. Reuters, Mar 12
In January, Russia fired Ukraine as its natural gas transit for Europe. The pipeline across Ukraine was ideally positioned for this function. However, Ukraine’s practice of failing to pay for the natural gas it used and the outright hostility of the Kiev junta toward Russia were simply too much. Russia gave notice that the spigot would be turned off permanently in 2019. (Image: WikiCommons)
As an alternative to the Ukraine pipeline, Russia struck a deal with Turkey to sell it all the natural gas it wanted. In addition, Turkey agreed to put a gas portal at the Greek border for interested European nations.

None whatever exists. Guilt by accusation suffices for anyone Washington wants convicted. Innocence is no defense. Juries are pressured to convict. Evidence when absent is invented. Lack of proof doesn't matter.
Thousands of political prisoners languish in America's gulag - at home and abroad. Thousands more are imprisoned for misdemeanors too minor to matter - ones for which just societies wouldn't tolerate incarceration.
Wrongful convictions are longstanding US practice - including numerous victims sentenced to capital punishment for crimes they didn't commit.

“…our current results are consistent with the existing evidence on the toxicology and pharmacokinetics of Al adjuvants which altogether strongly implicate these compounds as contributors to the rising prevalence of neurobehavioral disorders in children. Given that autism has devastating consequences in a life of a child, and that currently in the developed world over 1% of children suffer from some form of ASD, it would seem wise to make efforts towards reducing infant exposure to aluminum from vaccines.“ — C A Shaw, MD

Kiev's regime is a US-installed, illegitimate, lawless, Nazi infested, fascist police state in Europe's heartland - waging naked aggression on its own people, risking regional peace and stability.
It tolerates no opposition. Democracy is strictly forbidden. Human and civil rights don't exist. Freedom is nonexistent. Nor are free and open media. Truth-telling on issues mattering most is considered terrorism.
Russians, Jews and others are vilified. Rule by intimidation is official policy. So is state terror - characterized by severe repression, violence and naked aggression against Donbass Ukrainians rejecting fascism, wanting to live free.

On Wednesday afternoon, May 13th, a catastrophic failure became clear to the few honest Democrats who were determined to stop Obama’s disastrous ’trade deals’ which are actually going to transfer regulatory sovereignty away from elected government officials as at present (who are answerable to voters), and instead move these powers into the hands of international corporate cartels, which will have the final say over the safety of our air, water, automobiles, and other products, and of the environment, and of workers’ rights (and which regulations will become answerable instead to the controlling stockholders in those mega-corporations). Mega-corporations will set international standards, which none of the signatory nations within the TPP and TTIP will be legally able to exceed without paying heavy penalties to those corporations for violating those corporations’ ‘rights’ under these trade-deals. The current ability of individual nations to establish their own standards will disappear, except to the extent that international corporations allow.
