You’re Being Lied to!

March 12th, 2017

Stephen Lendman

Believe nothing at face value from government at all levels and scoundrel media sources.

On all issues mattering most, especially geopolitical ones, they systematically lie - fake news substituting for truth-telling, information important to know suppressed.

Media scoundrels operate as virtual press agents for wealth, power and privileged interests - willfully deceiving readers and viewers to keep them uninformed on what’s going on, feeding them worthless rubbish, fiction, not facts.

Truth-telling would expose rogue state policies, complicit with monied interests, inflicting enormous harm on humanity at home and abroad, ordinary people exploited and abused so privileged ones can benefit.

Hillary wasn’t the only big loser last November. Media scoundrels lost big time. Shameless advocacy instead of journalism the way it’s supposed to be cost them plenty, making them more of a laughing stock than already.

One of Gerald Celente’s top 2017 trends is the demise of daily newspapers as we know them, saying:

“The daily newspaper is on its death bed…The Fourth Estate - the unofficial fourth branch of government designed to hold powerful people and institutions accountable - is no longer the domain of the mainstream media.” Alternative sources replaced them.

Lopsided coverage of America’s 2015-16 political season was the worst in memory, supporting Hillary over Trump instead of unbiased reporting - ignoring her high crimes, inventing reasons to denigrate her opponent, and all for naught.

She lost. He won, but they won’t quit, allied with dark forces backing efforts to impeach Trump straightaway after entering office office - part of a coup d’etat plot to remove him after earlier schemes failed.

Anyone not savvy enough to understand geopolitics might think vilifying Russia is the national pastime. Obama, neocon lunatics in Washington and Joint Chiefs of Staff General Joseph (“fighting Joe) Dunford disgracefully call the country an existential threat - a Big Lie, fear-mongering to justify bloated military spending at a time America’s only enemies are ones it invents.

Hateful accusations against Russia are extreme enough to make a sailor blush, utter rubbish that keeps repeating like a bad meal - lies, Big Lies and dreadful fake news presented as indisputable truths.

Russia didn’t invade Ukraine. No “Russian aggression” exists anywhere. Crimea wasn’t annexed. It rejoined Russia, correcting a historic mistake.

Russia didn’t down MH17. It didn’t interfere in America’s election. It doesn’t threaten its neighbors or anyone else. It’s governed democratically, not despotically.

It favors cooperative, not adversarial relations, with all countries. It deplores wars and instability, continues heroic efforts to resolve conflicts in Syria and Ukraine diplomatically.

Russia is a good neighbor, not a menacing one like America, Putin a world-class leader, not a lawless one like Obama.

Without minimal due diligence to understand what’s going on, it’s easy to understand why many Americans believe the opposite of what’s true.

Where will it end? Is Trump strong-willing enough to improve bilateral relations, or will he succumb to pressure, reject change, maintain the status quo and risk eventual confrontation?

Nuclear war at some point against one or more US adversaries should arouse public sentiment enough to stop it. Possible mushroom cloud denouement is no pleasant way to go.
