Turn On, Tune In, Log Out

From Leary's astral trips to the Pentagon's biometric grids, the war on consciousness is not metaphysical anymore. Rather, new research tells us it is war on the flesh we wear, the senses we have been taught to ignore. The visceral urge they try to hold in check.

The golden calf was the idol of idolatrous worship-crafted by artisans but demanded by the masses, a symbol of worshiping metal instead of the transcendent.

The same thing now of Elon Musk, Bryan Johnson, Sam Altman, and Mark Zuckerberg. They are today's idol-makers, promoting salvation in neural implants, uploaded souls, AI eternal life.

Where the calf had been a golden statue of animal form, their calf is the server farm-racks of wire where they would inscribe human mind into code. Both to serve the same desire: to replace mystery with machinery, to reduce spirit to metal.

Neuroscience Research published September 2025 reveals that the humanist notion of “uploading one’s consciousness into a computer.” Human consciousness begins with one’s awareness of an excited heartbeat, looking upstream and downstream of a river, listening to music, touching an animal’s fur, tasting a banana, smelling salt spray from the beach. Recent research compels us to know what some already knew – brainwaves stored in a quantum computer are not life, are not “consciousness.” Without or non-digital self, there is no life. 

Without a body (human or animal) there is no self. We are erroneously told that the artificial in AI is comparative to “us.” That artificial ignorance is “smart.” Article: “Scientific American – “The Illusion of AI Consciousness” (April 2024).” Without a body, heart, lungs, a spinal cord, nerve endings and senses, ai is just sequences of ones and zeros. Hexadecimal and Binary. With a power failure and no backup generator, “AI-life” is less than a fart.

·  Modern neuroscience in 2025 is a weaponized field, Orwellian in ambition and Huxleyan/Zuckerbergian in narcotic dopamine appeal.

·  What was once the playground of the counterculture-the psychedelic opening of mind-has been drafted into CIA/NSA digital mind control.

·  CIA laboratories, DARPA biometric strongboxes, and Silicon Valley's radiant retinal screens converge on one epiphany: the body is no longer sacred ground. It is the battleground.

·  Neuroscience publishes articles on the human heartbeat as a sense of self. Meanwhile, Apple’s Tim Cook promotes a new AI widget for Apple Watches to alert Apple to your wet dreams.

Timothy Leary, half-prophet and half-CIA-spawn, told us to "Turn on, tune in, drop out." But even while he was preaching liberation via LSD, MKUltra was refining the same molecule as an interrogation tool. The sacrament of the counterculture was Langley's deconstruction tool. His words were scripture and smoke screen, spiritual armor and CIA disinformation. 

·  The crux of modern Infowars is to digitally tear down your ego, id, and superego.

·  It seeks to remove all body sensory associations and rebuild you in AI’s image.

“They” can see through walls, see you from space, stalk and hear you via Cellphone NSA eGuardian app.

·  Now the machinery is less boot-invasive.

·  Facial recognition scans occur at airport checkpoints. Heartbeat signatures can locate you through walls.

·  Brainwave scans provide convenience while storing the form of thought.

·  Silicon chips under the skin and wrist “wellness trackers” are marketed as self-awareness, yet they act as data drains for mind-control systems.

·  Do not think of it-feel it as a mind-boot. They have a boot on your mind (and body) “forever.”

Those born into the era of Mom’s cellphone were created in Steve Job’s image. Digital dopamine creates sociopaths and narcissists. 

The body-its rhythms, its tremors, its biochemical whispers-is now the source code of control. Where MK-Ultra once shattered minds, DARPA now maps pulses. 

Where Leary sought transcendence, the Pentagon seeks compliance. Surveillance has moved from dossiers to DNA, from files to EEG. Smart rings and smart watches are more than just another camera in the panopticon.

The real battlefield is not the cloud, or the ballot box, or the endless ideological churn. It is your nervous system. It is the way your breath can be tracked, your iris recognized, your dopamine regulated by a push notification engineered to addict. The empire has gone cellular. Literally, quit Facebook. Cut back on the Empire’s pacifiers. Skip some sports games (bread and gladiators while the empire rots inside and out). Read Waldens Pond and The Outsider by Colin Wilson.

To push back is not merely to unplug or detox, though both are useful. It is to reassert the body as sovereign space, not biometric fuel. It is to understand that in each "convenience"-each frictionless scan, each frictionless login-lies an invisible calculus of control.

Leary's mistake was to believe that the mind could be liberated alone. Freedom now requires a re-possession of the flesh, a resistance of the body's limits to the invasion of the surveillance state. 

"Behold the people… they have corrupted themselves… make us gods who shall go before us." (Exodus 32:1)

The golden calf was worshiped; the czars of today-Musk, Johnson, Altman, Zuckerberg-worship the brain in a server. Flesh and mind condensed into code, human lives redesigned as data. The idol remains intact: metal and promise, not soul.

Humanity trades mystery for machines; the calf simply reformed in digits. We are being taught to worship electrons in circuitry and ignore the feeling in the bowels and chest when we know the government is lying to us along with the sycophantic “tech giants-gods.” You can feel the rage they try to shame and repress. You can feel their lies, their deceit, their cronyism. It is why you have bowels and AI does not.

Feel it. Fight back.
