Neocons for Hillary

August 12th, 2016

Her con game is pretending to be progressive. Her populist-sounding rhetoric is willful deception.

It’s rubbish like husband Bill substituting neoliberal harshness for social justice, like the Sanders revolution that never was, proclaimed solely for vote-getting - to be arrogantly tossed aside once ensconced in office, with no apologies, no looking back.

Progressivism and war-making are mortal enemies. Hillary represents the most hawkish side of longstanding US interventionist policy - insatiably inventing enemies to pursue conflicts, mindless of the cost in human lives and misery. If successful in succeeding Obama which seems likely, given how things seem rigged in her favor, she’ll stack her administration with neocons like herself, raging to rape and plunder more countries with bipartisan support.

Was Obama any different, continuing where Bush left off without missing a beat, at war with multiple countries from day one in office to today, a second rape of Libya underway?

The late Carroll Quigley explained the dark side of US realpolitik, saying “(t)he argument that the two parties should represent opposed ideals and policies, one, perhaps, of the Right and the other of the Left, is a foolish idea acceptable only to doctrinaire and academic thinkers.”

Both wings of US duopoly governance are “almost identical, so that the American people can ‘throw the rascals out’ at any election without leading to any profound or extensive shifts in policy.”

Trump’s anti-establishment-sounding rhetoric makes him seem like the threat of good example - on issues like rapprochement with Russia, maybe China and Iran, possibly being less ravenous about toppling independent governments overall, and opposition to jobs-destroying trade deals.

A president daring to diverge from longstanding US domestic and geopolitical policy any more than around the edges on less than major issues automatically becomes a threat to national security - why JFK was assassinated, then RFK to prevent him from becoming president, and MLK because of his bigger-than-life persona, his compelling national influence, unequaled eloquence, social justice activism and profound opposition to war.

In late July, The Intercept quoted neocon Project for the New American Century co-founder Robert Kagan, saying “all Republican foreign policy professional are anti-Trump.” They’ll vote for War Party nominee Clinton.

Kagan is the husband of Hillary favorite/neocon Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Victoria Nuland, responsible for replacing democrats with Nazis in Ukraine.

She’s a possible choice for Secretary of State in a Clinton administration. What other countries are on her list and Hillary’s for regime change - by color revolutions or wars, perhaps Russia and China with nuclear weapons?

War Party insiders say a Clinton administration “will escalate tensions with Russia (and China), double down on military belligerence in the Middle East, and generally ignore the American public’s growing hostility to intervention,” said The Intercept.

Given Hillary’s wholehearted support for all US wars of aggression since the 1990s, it goes without saying how belligerently she’ll govern - perhaps waging nuclear war to advance her hegemonic agenda.

Her likely War Secretary choice is likeminded neocon war hawk Michele Flournoy - earlier serving in husband Bill’s War Department, more recently Obama’s Under Secretary of War for Policy.

Hillary’s choice for top administration posts won’t officially be known until announced - following her likely November anointment.

Stacking foreign policy, war-making, and related posts with hawkish neocons suggests perhaps the most belligerent administration in US history.

Her belligerent geopolitical background risks the madness of nuclear war - humanity’s greatest threat with her as president.
