America: Raping and Destroying Planet Earth to Own It

Americans are the most over-entertained, least-informed people anywhere - despite minimal effort needed to access vast amounts of easily accessible credible information online and through other truth-telling sources.
Ruling authorities and complicit media scoundrels take full advantage - manipulating public sentiment, substituting fiction for facts, making people believe the most ruthless regime in world history is its most benign.
How when America the beautiful if pure fantasy, when bipartisan neocons run things, lunatics by any standard, selected by election rigging, serving monied interests exclusively at the expense of most others.
How when endless wars on humanity rage at home and abroad, glorified in the name of peace, planet earth more battleground than hospitable habitat.
How when sovereign independent nations are targeted for regime change, millions of deaths considered a small price to pay.
How when conquests and colonizations are called liberation, plunder considered economic development, ravaging and destroying nations called humanitarian intervention, responsibility to protect, and democracy building.
How when might justifies right, when rule of law principles are discarded, Washington’s way overriding them.
How when thousands of political prisoners languish under gulag conditions at home and abroad, when whistleblowers exposing government wrongdoing are considered traitors.
How when America honors its worst, persecutes its best, locks people in cages, treats them like animals, flagrantly breaching fundamental human and civil rights.
How when tyranny masquerades as democracy, when torture is official policy, when freedoms too precious to lose are disappearing in plain sight, when truth-telling heads toward becoming criminalized.
How when major media most people rely on for news and information substitute state-sponsored propaganda for what people need to know - an informed citizenry considered a threat to national security.
How when America increasingly is unsafe and unfit to live in, its reckless agenda threatening life on earth.
Bipartisan US ruling authorities want dominion over planet earth, its resources and people - plagued by the same dynamic destroying past empires, unwilling to change, uncompromising in its aims, pursuing them recklessly.
The end game isn’t pretty - imperial arrogance, hubris, delusions of grandeur and madness killing us all if nothing is done to change things.
