US Warplanes Bomb Syrian Hospitals and Other Civilian Sites: Russia Irresponsibly Blamed

February 18th, 2016

It’s not the first time Russia was recklessly blamed for US high crimes - in Syria and elsewhere.

Pentagon warplanes bomb Syrian infrastructure and government sites virtually daily, ongoing since late 2014 - on the phony pretext of combatting ISIS.

On Monday, Ban Ki-moon’s spokesman Farhan Haq said “(t)he secretary-general is deeply concerned by reports of missile attacks on at least five medical facilities and two schools in Aleppo and in Idlib, which killed close to 50 civilians, including children, and injuring many.”

Fact: All Russian aerial attacks are precision ones, solely against terrorist groups, their implements of war and facilities.

Fact: Throughout five-and-a-half months of its campaign, no credible evidence proves any civilians or nonmilitary targets hit - NONE!!

Fact: Claims otherwise are Big Lies, malicious US-led propaganda, attempting to denigrate its effective war on terrorism, combating ISIS and likeminded groups Washington supports.

Doctors Without Borders (MSF) reported its Ma’aarat Al Numan hospital struck multiple times - killing at least seven, injuring others, at least eight missing victims “presumed dead.”

Washington bears full responsibility. Last October, US warplanes knowingly and deliberately bombed an MSF Kunduz, Afghanistan hospital, mass-murdering staff and patients, injuring many others.

Pentagon commanders calling the attack a “tragic but avoidable accident” was a bald-faced lie. This time Russia was falsely blamed for US high crimes.

MSF said destruction of its hospital leaves around 40,000 Syrians with no access to medical care “in an active zone of conflict.”

Around 1,500 ill and injured relied on it monthly. Russia’s Health Minister Veronika Skvortsova condemned attempts to blame Russian warplanes for what happened.

She minced no words, saying the MSF hospital “was destroyed by the American air force. (Russia) ha(d) nothing to do with it.”

Syrian ambassador to Russia Riad Haddad said credible “intelligence information” proves US warplanes struck the facility, along with other civilian sites in Aleppo and Idlib provinces.

Irresponsibly blaming Russia followed, part of longstanding hostile US propaganda.

Washington talks peace while waging endless naked aggression - subverting Russia’s forthright Geneva and Munich conflict resolution efforts, dead on arrival like earlier Moscow attempts to end years of war.

Peace and stability defeat America’s imperial agenda. Endless conflicts and chaos further it.

Syria remains in the eye of the storm, a hugely dangerous flashpoint risking possible global war if not responsibly contained.

Nothing in prospect suggests it. Conditions are potentially explosive. Washington bears full responsibility. Be scared. Be very scared.
