Fear-mongering is longstanding US practice to enlist public support for imperial wars and crackdowns on fundamental freedoms.

Rogue states operate this way. Most people are fooled every time, Obama a world-class con man, a serial liar, hyping nonexistent threats.

A Friday FBI statement said it “will investigate (Wednesday’s) San Bernardino shootings as (a) terrorist act,” carried out by Syed Farook and his wife Tashfeed Malik, killed by police following the incident, unable to explain their motive.

FBI Director James Comey said “(t)his is now a federal terrorism investigation…(It) developed indications of radicalization by the killers and of the potential inspiration by foreign terrorist organizations” - despite no evidence linking them to an organized terrorist group.

Tashfeen Malik’s reported Facebook post declaring allegiance to ISIS was taken down. With both assailants dead, their motive remains unknown. Believe nothing US officials claim or media scoundrels report.

America is a hotbed of gun violence. Individual or multiple incidents occur often, unrelated to terrorism or organized groups committing it.

Have any of over 1,000 police killings in America this year been called terrorist acts? Cops murdering defenseless Black kids and other people of color reflect state-sponsored terrorism - the worst kind, endangering homeland freedoms and world peace.

Ever hear Obama criticize out-of-control police violence - mischaracterized as “justifiable homicides?” In a late October address before the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) in Chicago, he thanked them for making America “safer than it’s been in decades, and that’s something for which every American should be proud.”

Hard facts disprove his Big Lie. US cops are oppressors, not public servants - protecting powerful monied interests at the expense of society’s most vulnerable.

They’re militarized for more efficient killing with Pentagon-supplied weapons, waging daily war on persecuted communities, endangering fundamental freedoms fast disappearing.

Syed Farook, his wife Tashfeed Malik, and numerous other domestic assailants don’t threaten public safety as gravely as killer cops - praised, not prosecuted for their crimes, rare exceptions proving the rule.

Obama took full advantage of San Bernardino’s shootings. In his December 5 radio address, he hyped what he called a terrorist act - saying both “attackers were (apparently) radicalized to commit this act of terror.”

“We know that ISIL and other terrorist groups are actively encouraging people - around the world and in our country - to commit terrible acts of violence, often times as lone wolf actors.”

Ahead of America’s Thanksgiving weekend, he said no “specific and credible” intelligence indicates a homeland terrorist threat - much different from his December 5 comments, showing nothing he says has credibility.

The only real terrorist threat Americans face is state-sponsored - by militarized police, the FBI, CIA, DEA, or soldiers when deployed on US streets or at other locations.

Obama claiming his “highest priority is (protecting) the security and safety of the American people” is one of his Biggest Big Lies.

His endless imperial war agenda threatens world peace. His homeland police state apparatus systematically wages war on fundamental freedoms.

So-called “values” he claims to uphold risk the unthinkable - possible nuclear war able to end life on earth.
