Kiev's Ongoing Dirty War on Donbass

April 5th, 2015

by Stephen Lendman

Fascists don't wage wars to quit. Kiev's dirty war of aggression on Donbass didn't stop.

It slowed to give junta forces time to regroup, rearm, and ready for resumed full-scale combat.

Minsk ceasefire terms proved worthless. Kiev violated them straightaway - like 2014 peace initiatives it spurned.

Virtually everything it agreed to it breached. Multiple violations continue daily.

On Thursday, a Lugansk People's Republic (LPR) military spokesman said:

"From 11:00 PM yesterday evening to 6:00 AM (Friday) morning, representatives of the people’s militia were recording the movement of armoured vehicles of the armed forces of Ukraine from the city of Belovodsk, which is under Ukrainian control, towards Stanitsa Luganskaya."

"The pulled in equipment includes self-propelled artillery weapons of various modifications."

These actions and others like them virtually daily are a "blatant violation of the Minsk agreements."

DPR and LPR officials accused Kiev of moving tanks to front line positions.

Poroshenko repeatedly lied claiming heavy weapons were withdrawn. They've been repositioned for resumed combat.

DPR's Defense Ministry recorded 41 ceasefire violations in the last 24 hours. Dozens more occur daily.

Junta forces fired artillery, mortars, tank guns, anti-aircraft guns, heavy machine guns and small arms.

On March 26, Russia's Investigative Committee spokesman Vladimir Markin said a criminal case was initiated in response to continued junta force shellings.

On the one hand, Kiev breached Minsk agreed on terms. On the other, its forces uses "banned means and methods of warfare," Markin explained.

Unknown numbers of Ukrainian soldiers and Nazi-infested National Guard forces "act(ed) on the motives of political and ideological hatred and hostility," he added.

Kiev continues committing war crimes. Heavy weapons are used against civilian men, women and children. They're murdered in cold blood.

LPR security forces said they detained Nazi-infested Aidar battalion members. A Security Ministry statement said:

The "Ministry has detained a subversive and reconnaissance group from the Aidar battalion, one of the cruelest Ukrainian battalions."

They admitted plotting attacks in crowded civilian areas. Earlier, Amnesty International said Aidar is well known for "brutal reprisals, robbery, beatings and extortion."

Its abuses "amount to war crimes, for which both the perpetrators and, possibly, the commanders would bear responsibility under national and international law."

Aidar is like other Ukrainian Nazi-infested volunteer paramilitary groups.

They're cutthroat killers, notorious human rights abusers, hate-mongering anti-Semites. They openly support white supremacist rule.

They boast about attacking ethnic, racial and social minorities. They're at war with Donbass residents rejecting fascist rule.

Weeks earlier, they were reorganized into the Ukrainian military 24th Separate Assault Battalion. They're used to commit horrific crimes of war and against humanity.

Ukraine is infested with these type elements. Washington loves them. They're like IS fighters America recruits, arms, funds, trains and directs against independent governments it wants toppled.

These, similar forces, and Ukrainian regulars are committing daily high crimes against peace.

Western media scoundrels ignore what demands daily headlines.

At the same time, Ukraine's Security Service (SBU) headed by Valentyn Nalyvaichenko is being transformed into a national Gestapo.

Its mission is state terror. It's targeting enemies of the state for elimination.

It's incorporating independent armed groups like Aidar under Kiev's authority. It assures greater centralized repression.

It gets all regime elements on the same page for consolidated power, resumed full-scale war, and reign of terror harshness against nonbelievers.

Ukraine is a hotbed of fascist extremism. Lunatics in charge are crazy enough to challenge Russia. Expect it with full US support and encouragement.

A Final Comment

Nazi Ukrainian Internal Affairs minister Arsen Avakov publicly said on state-controlled television "we should have blown up the Donetsk regional administration" at the start of conflict last year.

"Something similar should have been done by Ukraine's Security Service in Lugansk," he added.

Avakov is one among other US-supported Nazi thugs running Ukraine. They may set the whole continent ablaze before they're through.
