Road of Absolution

A people disavow the problems facing our nation with fingers pointed in every direction, but themselves. Words spoken of hate for things not understood and a nation crumbles for the bitterness growing in the souls of unbelievers. Greed and power feed the egos of the bureaucrats on Capitol Hill. Twisted mouths spew lies wrapped with false sincerity, while our nation watches yesterday’s freedom disappear. Glorified for their words of hope the masses smile for a bright future coming.

Ones who speak of sins committed are called racists or fools. What has become of this nation and her smiling face in the blue sky of freedom? The filth of man has finally overflowed onto the green grass of liberty, leaving nothing but liars and deceivers. Politicians pick the bones of our nation to fill their pockets, and leave a people naked with promises never to be kept. The air is filled with a heaviness of shame for what was done to our home. Denial for the truth finally caught up with us and now we will see a future of despair.

Being a simple man it is hard to articulate what I see happening to our nation, but if you look closely at the images of black and white, they will cast a frightening scene. Listen to the words of those in office and you will hear their well rehearsed speeches spoken with double meanings and later will admit to nothing said. Lies are a common practice for the weasels that walk to their own beat of their own drum. One morning we will awake to find our freedom vanquished and our rights forbidden. While we stare in the black abyss of space and ask ourselves, how could this have happened. So, America what are you going to do?
