Ron Paul: GOP trying to out-militarize the President
"When I can get 52 hundred people together on a collage campus, wildly enthusiastic to hear the message of liberty and freedom and less wars and curtailing the Federal Reserve there’s no way I’m going to quit speaking out on this and there’s no way I’m going to give up on the effort to get the republicans back to their roots. Some people tell me why don’t you give up because that would help the Republican Party. The truth is I’m trying to save the republican party from themselves because they want perpetual wars, they don’t care about presidents who assassinate American citizens, they don’t care about searching our houses without search warrants, and these are the kinds of things that people care about and if the republicans would take a different position they may save themselves, but right now I see they’re going to be in big trouble."
The Republican Party doesn’t need saving and they don’t need to take a different position. They use rigged elections, war and an ever expanding police state at home to maintain their power and control over the political system and the American people. And for this reason Ron Paul will loose. In reality it’s the American people who need to change and who need to be saved. Their country has been infected with the cancer of fascism. There is little time left before the cancer completely overwhelms a once free people, and America as we know it dies.
