The U.S. did not vote to condemn Russia’s actions nor support Ukrainian ‘territorial integrity’. The second resolution the U.S. voted for was one it had drafted itself. It was made at the U.N. Security Council and called for an end to the Ukraine war while containing no criticism of Russia. That resolution passed the Security Council despite lacking support from the U.K. and France, which abstained after their attempts to amend the wording were vetoed.
