On this Memorial Day weekend when Americans are supposed to reflect back to honor our dead soldiers that have fought for our freedoms over the centuries, I’m reminded of an article I wrote for Global Research nearly 10 years ago. I came to realize that unconditionally “supporting our troops” has been a big part of the problem why America has been at war somewhere in this world 93% of our quarter millennium as a nation. As the most warring nation on earth, supporting our troops might not be such an honorable thing to do after all, 30 million [and counting] dead victims later since WWII. It’s really nothing to celebrate or be proud of at all.
