The U.S. military department has requested $30.6 billion for ammunition purchases. The requested amount is 5.8 billion more than the amount appropriated last year. Of the total amount, the plan is to provide for the purchase of:
● Tactical missiles - $17.3 billion;
● Strategic missiles, $7.3 billion;
● Ammunition, $5.6 billion.
