A demonstration was held by activists at McKeldin Square, in Baltimore’s Inner Harbor, at 5 PM, on Wednesday, April 2, 2014. Their purpose was to respond to today’s SCTOUS decision involving campaign financing. The ruling, by a 5 to 4 vote, extends the right of fat cats donors, like the Koch Brothers and Sheldon Adelson, to dominate contributions to candidates in any given election cycle. Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) warned the decision could lead “to an oligarchic form of society, which will control our political process.” One of the Justices, the Hon. Stephen Breyer, said: “Where enough money calls the tune, the public will not be heard.” Sharing their views on the video on this controversial decision and what the public can do about it, are: Rep.
