Iran Falsely Charged with India and Georgia Attacks

Last October, Iran was falsely charged with a fake terror plot that didn't pass the smell test. At best, it resembled a bad film script too implausible to believe.
Tehran was bogusly blamed for plotting to kill Saudi Arabia's US ambassador. According to spurious accusations, an Iranian/American used car salesman and Mexican drug cartel hired assassin were involved.
You can't make this stuff up, but major media scoundrels headlined it for days. They regurgitated a scheme too implausible to believe.
Official lies substituted for proof. They're repeated to incite fear and justify retaliatory measures with public support. They include belligerence if ordered.

NGOs Explain Away Egyptian Indictments
The Arab Spring opened on the road in Tunisia before hitting the big time in Tahrir Square, Cairo, Egypt. The workers of the unofficial Egyptian union movement had fought the neoconservative run government of Hosni Mubarak for years. This was their moment. Unfortunately, there were others present who wanted to make it their moment. Some of them, sixteen representatives of U.S. supported non-government organizations (NGOs), have been indicted by the Egyptian government for meddling in the internal political affairs of that country (Feb 5, 2012)
The Force isn’t with you... ‘Israel’s’ military capability to target Iran is pure Sci Fi

On the morning of Sunday Jan 29, an ‘Israeli’ Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UVA), the Heron TP (also known as the IAI Eitan) crashed during a joint operation by the ‘Israeli’ military and the company responsible for the drone’s development, near the Tel Nof airbase, south of Tel Aviv.
Thought to be the biggest UAV in the world, the Heron TP is the largest in the ‘Israeli’ UAV arsenal. It boasts a 26-meter-long wingspan, can fly for up to 45 hours with a cruise speed of 300 kilometres per hour, and is able to cover a distance of 10,000 kilometres. [1]
These are the vital statistics that led to claims in the New York Times magazine (January 25) that Israel possessed "unmanned aircraft capable of carrying bombs to...targets [in Iran] and remaining airborne for up to 48 hours."

NATO's Secret War on Syria

In January, Michel Chossudovsky reported British media confirming UK/CIA/MI6 operatives in Syria training anti-Assad Western-backed insurgents. They're also supplying them with arms, ammunition, and equipment.
"These reports confirm unequivocally (they're illegally) interfer(ing) in the affairs of a sovereign state. This is not a popular uprising. The insurrection as well as the killings of civilians were sponsored by the Western powers from the outset."

When enemies don't exist, they're invented. Fear stirs public angst. Major media scoundrels spread it. Propaganda substitutes for truth and full disclosure.
Say No to War

Wolfgang Borchert: German, author, playwright, poet. His experience under Hitler and Wehrmacht service changed his life.
Never a Nazi supporter, he deplored compulsory Hitler Youth time. Finally he got out. In 1940, the Gestapo arrested, then released him. His Wehrmacht conscription suspended his young theatrical career.
Sent to the Eastern front, he saw war firsthand at its worst. It included numerous casualties, vast destruction, starvation, and painful deaths. When an infected cut caused hepatitis, he was accused of avoiding military service by self-mutilation. As a result, he was arrested, placed in isolation, convicted of making "statements endangering the country," sentenced to six more weeks in isolation, then returned to the Eastern front "to prove himself" in battle.
As a result, he suffered frostbite and hepatitis bouts. Given medical leave to recover, he returned home to ravaged Hamburg. He parodied Nazi propaganda minister Joseph Gobbels. Doing so got him prosecuted and sentenced to nine months in prison.
America's Sham Economic Recovery

Official government data are manipulated. Credibility's entirely lacking. Reported good news is hype. Grim underlying reality is suppressed.
The monthly Labor Department jobs report is typical. Progressive Radio News Hour regular economist Jack Rasmus calls the latest January one "largely statistical legerdemain."
A reported 243,000 nonfarm jobs reported lacked credibility. Manipulation manufactured them. Even the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) admits:
"The confidence level for the monthly change in total employment is on the order of plus or minus 430,000 jobs."
The BBC "News Fixing" Scandal and Dead Babies
The Independent just announced that British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) would be running an apology worldwide for airing documentaries produced by a public relations firm. The anticipated apology resulted from last year's reporting in The Independent on this pecuiar BBC practice. A special committee investigated and confirmed the news fixing process.
"The BBC will today apologise to an estimated 74 million people around the world for a news fixing scandal, exposed by The Independent, in which it broadcast documentaries made by a London TV company that was earning millions of pounds from PR clients which it featured in its programming." The Independent, Feb 11
Sweet! The PR firm got a big payday from its clients, the nation of Malaysia for example, to produce the client-friendly documentaries. Then, the firm sold the documentaries to BBC for a nominal fee. The client state gets the publicity it wants, packaged for maximum effect, and BBC gets low cost content.
