Preparing To Asset-strip Local Government? The Fed’s Bizarre New Rules

In an inscrutable move that has alarmed state treasurers, the Federal Reserve, along with the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, just changed the liquidity requirements for the nation’s largest banks. Municipal bonds, long considered safe liquid investments, have been eliminated from the list of high-quality liquid collateral. assets (HQLA). That means banks that are the largest holders of munis are liable to start dumping them in favor of the Treasuries and corporate bonds that do satisfy the requirement.
Muni bonds fund the nation’s critical infrastructure, and they are subject to the whims of the market: as demand goes down, interest rates must be raised to attract buyers. State and local governments could find themselves in the position of cash-strapped Eurozone states, subject to crippling interest rates. The starkest example is Greece, where rates went as high as 30% when investors feared the government’s insolvency. Sky-high interest rates, in turn, are the fast track to insolvency. Greece wound up stripped of its assets, which were privatized at fire sale prices in a futile attempt to keep up with the bills.

It was when UFT leaders collaborated with New York City Central Board of Education officials. They did so against Black community members.
Ralph was jailed several times for his activism. He later worked as a human rights private investigator. During Lynne's ordeal, he worked tirelessly for justice.
Lynne is an internationally renown human rights lawyer. She spent 30 years practicing law ethically, morally and responsibly.

According to Christia Freeland, writing there, on September 5th, the conflict in which the Ukrainian Government has since May 9th been bombing the residents in southeastern Ukraine -- which is the area that had declared its independence from Ukraine -- this "is not a civil war." Those residents had declared their independence; the Government then bombed them for months; but that's "not a civil war."

Abbas Scuttles Fatah/Hamas Unity

Last April, Fatah and Hamas agreed on establishing unity Palestinian governance.
Hamas official Izzat Ar-Rishiq said issues separating both sides were resolved.
Fatah confirmed the report. Both sides agreed to form a "government of independents."
It would be "tasked with preparing for presidential and legislative elections within a year."
PLC deputy head Dr. Ahmad Bahar called the agreement historic. Gaza's coalition of independent figures head Abdul-Aziz Shiqaqi said it breaks new ground. It offers reconciliation hope.
Earlier unity talks failed. Israel sabotaged them. In April 2011, both sides met in Cairo. They announced a draft reconciliation agreement.
Egypt's official MENA news agency reported "a complete understanding after talks on all the points, including the formation of a transitional government with a specific mandate and setting a date for elections."

Whether or not you believe the "no-plane theory" there is an important question that needs to be asked: Why would the perpetrators bother to fake crashing planes into the Twin Towers, requiring them to fake all the crash videos as well, when it would be much easier for them to crash real planes into the Towers?
From Ukraine to Syria and Iraq Selling Fear and Lies to Control the Public

The media is selling fear of beheadings to the public. Syria is destroyed and so is Iraq, principally at the hands of the U.S. military machine and western partners. Oil pipelines and weapons deals are the reasons for this monstrosity that knows no end in its brutal occupation. The U.S. sold arms to Nouri al-Maliki to back his corrupt regime and backed his forces with drone strikes against ISIS, even though the American CIA also previously supported jihadist Sunni rebels, including the ISIS—procuring weapons for these groups, to attack the government of Bashar al-Assad. Hundreds of thousands of civilians are now dead in Syria—murdered by U.S. backed proxies. The ISIS are now in control of oil fields in Iraq thanks in no small part to U.S. weaponry, sold to Maliki, which they obtained after taking over major areas of the country.
