Psycho Killer

November 14th, 2014

From: Timothy Gatto

If you are squeamish, I wouldn't read this article. This isn't a treatise on how wonderful life is and how we can change the World. The facts are, we can't change anything. Change may come, but it might not be the change you long for. I believe this nation, along with the rest of the World is in a tailspin with psychopaths running the show.

As far as I'm concerned, you might as well sit back and enjoy the ride. In my case, I have pulled the plug on the mainstream media. I'm sick of their propaganda and fear mongering. The talking heads on the networks are completely out of their minds. The drivel that they get from politicians that they pass off as interviews make me want to vomit. They listen to lies and spin and never confront these full-blown psychopaths. If that passes for "news" I have had enough.

Kiev Plans Escalated Aggression

November 14th, 2014

by Stephen Lendman

Fascist regimes operate this way. Kiev deplores peace. Democracy in any form. Fundamental rule of law principles.

Breached unaccountably. Over and over again. Operating with full US-led NATO support and encouragement.

Western supplied weapons and munitions. Soviet era stockpiles.

Making a bad situation worse.

Pouring gasoline on a raging inferno. Assuring protracted conflict. Lying about pursuing peace.

In mid-September, Ukraine's Defense Minister Valery Heletey said:

"We reached agreements in closed talks, without media, about…weapons that we currently need."

Duplicitous US State of Emergency with Iran

November 14th, 2014

by Stephen Lendman

No just cause exists. Now now. Not earlier. It doesn't matter. US relations with Iran remain hostile.

Key is its sovereign independence. Its regional Israeli rivalry. Its huge oil and gas reserves.

Washington wants its dirty hands controlling them. Imperial powers operate this way.

Washington most of all. Wanting unchallenged dominance. Waging resource wars. Permanent wars of aggression.

NYT: Propaganda Bullhorn Rag Sheet

November 14th, 2014

by Stephen Lendman

Times managed news misinformation repeats with disturbing regularity. Often not rising to the level of bad fiction.

It bears repeating what other articles stressed. So-called news claimed fit to print isn't fit to read. Propaganda rubbish substitutes.

Previous articles discussed fake Russian Ukrainian invasions. With troops, tanks, artillery and other equipment. Baseless Big Lies. Claims without corroboration.

None exists. Fabricated rubbish only. Big Lies substituting for hard truths. Maliciously claiming nonexistent Russian invasions.

The latest in a shameless Times feature story. Headlined "Fears Rise as Russian Military Units Pour Into Ukraine," saying:

"Tanks and other military vehicles pouring over the border from Russia into eastern Ukraine."

"Nightly artillery battles in the region’s biggest city, Donetsk, and reports of fighting around another regional capital."

Kiev's War Without Mercy

November 13th, 2014

by Stephen Lendman

Washington bears full responsibility for Ukrainian crisis conditions. Rogue EU states share it.

Supporting and encouraging Kiev's war on its own people. Premeditated naked aggression. Without mercy.

Committing high crimes against peace. Using banned terror weapons. Targeting civilian neighborhoods.

Donbas freedom fighters reported "irrefutable evidence" of a weapon used similar to white phosphorous.

It burns flesh to the bone. Keeps burning until entirely consumed or deprived of oxygen.

The Hague and Geneva Conventions categorically prohibit chemical warfare. Including toxic agents.

Evidence shows Kiev used unidentified poison gas. Causing first-degree chemical-inflicted eye burns, alcoholic-like intoxication, bodily lacerations and fainting.

Media scoundrels say nothing. Ignore what demands headlines. Including banned cluster bombs munitions use.

The Con-man Cornered: Obama and the Democratic Debacle of 2014

November 12th, 2014

James Petras

Introduction

The meteoric rise to power of Barack Obama in 2008 was propelled by one of the greatest demagogic US Presidential campaigns of all time: To millions of young Americans, he promised to end the US wars in the Middle East. To millions of working and middle class voters, he promised to end the economic crisis by confronting Wall Street. To women, he promised to protect and expand their social rights and end the gender gap in wages and salaries. To human rights and civil liberties activists, he promised to end police state surveillance and torture, and to close the Guantanamo concentration camp, which had denied political prisoners a fair and open trial. To blacks, he promised higher living standards and greater racial equality in income. To Latino-Americans, he promised immigration reform facilitating a path to citizenship for long-term residents. Overseas he spoke in Cairo of a “new chapter” in US policy toward the Muslim world. To Russia, he promised President Putin he would ‘reset relations’ – toward greater co-operation.

Obama’s rhetorical flourishes attracted millions of young activists, women and minority voters and leaders to work for his election and the Democratic Party. He won a resounding victory! And the Democrats took control of the House and Senate.

Obama at APEC

November 12th, 2014

by Stephen Lendman

China and Russia offer carrots, not sticks. Obama is polar opposite. Couched in duplicitous diplomatic rhetoric.

"It is wonderful to be back in China," he said. His sixth trip as president. Second this year.

Shamelessly calling America "a thoroughly Pacific nation." Code language for wanting it to be its backyard. Dominion in a part of the world not its own.

Instituting, maintaining and force-feeding what James Petras calls a "Golden Age of Pillage."

On the one hand, wanting China marginalized, weakened, isolated, and contained. Surrounded by US bases. Targeting its heartland.

On the other, pushing the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP). A secretive trade deal from hell.
