Fentanyl’s catastrophic surge came after the Drug Enforcement Administration cracked down on the excesses of the U.S. opioid industry. Millions of Americans who had become addicted to prescription pain pills suddenly found them difficult or impossible to get.
Mexican cartels stepped in to fill the vacuum. Traffickers, who relied for decades on plant-based drugs such as heroin, cocaine and marijuana, are now using chemicals in clandestine laboratories to manufacture fentanyl powder and pills to meet the ever-increasing demand in the United States.
Fentanyl is 50 times more potent than heroin, and its compactness makes it far easier to smuggle. The synthetic opioid is so powerful that a year’s supply of pure fentanyl powder for the U.S. market would fit in the beds of two pickup trucks.

A lot of people assume that Democrats heavily influence the media. But that is not just an understatement but an inaccurate statement. To be influenced, the media and Democrats would have to be separate organizations. Also, the Democrats would have to employ their powers of persuasion to influence the media.
In reality, the media is the propaganda arm of the Democrats. There is no difference between the utterances of the press and the Democrats. If you want to know what the Democrat leadership is thinking, just follow in the mainstream media.
The late great Rush Limbaugh often played a montage of utterances from media pundits about any given event. Not only did the 'experts' have identical opinions, they also used identical keywords.
Words such as 'insurrection' or 'collusion' didn't become the de facto term for describing the events of January 6th or the Trump-Russia hoax by accident. These terms were provided by adept wordsmiths in the Democrat party, and the media lapdogs followed the diktat faithfully. They repeated the terms until even those against whom the hoax was perpetrated accepted the premise and used them while defending themselves.

Incredibly, the security arrangements for one person, Benjamin Netanyahu, surpass those implemented for 32 heads of state during the recent NATO anniversary in Washington, D.C.
While the NATO meetings involved high fences around the Washington Convention Center, the security for Netanyahu’s visit includes fencing off the entire U.S. Capitol complex, placing barricades in front of the House of Representatives and Senate buildings and around the Watergate complex where he stayed.

As readers know, I expected Biden to be moved aside. I wondered why the Democrats were waiting so long. They might have been waiting to see if the planned assassination of Trump succeeded. Biden is an issue because he cannot win or come close enough to winning for the Democrats to be able to steal the election as they did in 2020. As the assassination failed, the Democrats need a more viable candidate, one the media can hype as one who can run a close race and win. Fake polls will be published that show the Democrat to be leading Trump. This allows the Democrats to steal the election if necessary.
As there is not sufficient time for the Democrats to create a winning persona for a new presidential candidate, they need someone with name recognition and existing support, such as Hillary Clinton. Hillary and Obama are the main political figures in the Democrat Party. If Hillary has Obama’s support, she is likely to be the candidate. Kamala Harris is not regarded as having any better chance than Biden.

US Vice President Kamala Harris has received $81 million in contributions in the first 24 hours since Joe Biden withdrew from the 2024 presidential race and endorsed her candidacy.
According to the campaign, it has received more than 888,000 contributions from “grassroots donors,” 60% of whom have donated for the first time during the 2024 election cycle.

The family of a mother of five who was murdered by an illegal immigrant slammed the Biden administration on Tuesday night for having "opened our borders" to the man accused of killing her.
Michael Morin, the brother of Rachel Morin, spoke at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Morin was killed in August after going out for a jog on a trail near her home in Maryland. Police found her body in a culvert, covered in bruises and with severe head trauma.
"Rachel, a joyful, accomplished athlete and mother of five was raped and murdered by a suspected illegal immigrant," Michael Morin told the crowd at the Republican National Convention. "This was described as among the most brutal and violent offenses that has ever occurred in Harford County, Maryland history." Victor Antonio Martinez-Hernandez, 23, faces a half-dozen charges, including first-degree murder, rape, and kidnapping, in connection with Rachel Morin's death. Officials said Martinez Hernandez, who has suspected gang ties, fled his home country in February 2023 after a warrant was issued for the murder of a woman there.

Luis Talamantes-Romero, 33, an illegal alien from Mexico, has been arrested for the murder of Jacqueline Vigil, 55, of Albuquerque, New Mexico. Ms. Vigil was gunned down after encountering Talamantes-Romero while backing her vehicle out of her driveway.
News reports have stated that Talamantes-Romero was involved in gang activity and had been arrested a number of times in New Mexico and Colorado for a variety of crimes. He is said to have spent time in prison and has been deported from the United States in 2006, 2008, and 2019. Soon after his 2019 deportation he illegally returned to the US and eventually senselessly murdered Ms. Vigil on a Tuesday in November.
Sam Vigil, the murder victim's husband, has filed a lawsuit against the City of Albuquerque for its illegal alien sanctuary policy. The lawsuit alleges the city is responsible for his wife's murder because the city's sanctuary policy prevented the Albuquerque Police Department from turning Talamantes-Romero over to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) years ago.
