Putin at St. Petersburg International Economic Forum

Called Russia’s Davos, this year’s SPIEF (its 20th annual forum) is one of its “most extensive,” according to Tass, featuring three days of over 100 events - from June 16 - 18.
Attending are representatives of 600 Russian and 500 foreign companies from 60 countries, including America and EU ones - to the displeasure of Washington, wanting Russia increasingly isolated, marginalized, weakened, and transformed into a US vassal state.
Addressing SPIEF’s plenary session, Putin’s remarks were wide-ranging, discussing “systemic problems…besetting the global economy and practically all countries,” as well as expressing an eagerness to restore normalized relations with EU countries, disrupted by hostile US policy.
“We do not hold a grudge, and are ready to meet our European partners halfway. But it certainly cannot be a one-way game,” he stressed.
America’s One-Party Government

Today’s United States is a more realistic version of the type of society
that George Orwell fictionally described in his allegorical novel 1984.
Like in 1984, the American public don’t know that they’re merely the tools of some unseen aristocracy who manipulate them by fear of ‘the other’, some ‘enemy’ group — manipulate the public via the media, which the aristocracy controls. But the big failing of Orwell’s model as a portrayal of the (when he wrote it) coming fascist-corporate dystopia was that he misunderstood how and why the public would falsely believe that they live in a democracy. His central character Winston Smith worked in an unrealistically portrayed propaganda-mill. But in some other fundamentals, Orwell had it right. The public don’t know that their real enemy is their own nation’s aristocracy who are mentally holding the public in bondage by lies systematically implanted into their beliefs, by means of ‘news’ media that are controlled by their own nation’s aristocracy, who own those media and/or control the government by bribery (sometimes subtle) of the politicians whom the aristocracy’s media are being paid to promote. In any case, the aristocracy control the public’s mind, to accept the fundamental legitimacy of the regime the aristocrats are imposing. Aristocrats hire the ‘news’ media.
UEFA Bashes Russia for Euro 2016 Hooliganism

Hooliganism involving disorderly crowd behavior and violence all too commonly accompanies European football matches - rowdy groups, gangs or individuals responsible, not nations.
Following Saturday’s Russia/England match, Russian fans broke into Marseille, France’s Stade Velodrome’s English zone. Violence followed, including on city streets for three straight days.
Dozens were injured, at least four seriously. Russian Sports Minister Vitaly Mutko said Russian fans improperly behaving will be punished appropriately.
NYT Praises Obama’s Phony War on Terror, Lauds Clinton, Blasts Trump

NYT editors never let facts interfere with their worldview, consistently misinforming readers, willfully lying.
On Tuesday, they ignored Obama’s imperial madness, his high crimes against peace, his rage for wars, waging them in multiple theaters, using ISIS and other terrorist groups as US foot soldiers.
Instead they praised what demands universal condemnation and accountability, saying in a Tuesday speech, Obama “listed the ways in which his administration has worked to subdue the threat of terrorism abroad and home” - at the same time denouncing what he called Trump’s “dangerous” mindset.
Pentagon Hypes Nonexistent Russian Threat

Today is the worst of times. Reckless US fear-mongering persists. No Russian threat exists. Claims otherwise are fabricated - a hoax proliferated by irresponsible media scoundrels, paid to lie, trashing journalistic ethics.
Putin gets no credit for being the world’s preeminent peacemaker - polar opposite Obama, Hillary Clinton and other neocons infesting Washington.
US Deputy Assistant Defense Secretary for Russia, Ukraine and Eurasia Michael Carpenter hyped fear irresponsibly, ludicrously suggesting Russia can overrun Baltic states Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia in 60 hours.
He cited a months earlier RAND Corporation report, the organization a largely Pentagon funded military think tank, paid to produce material serving US imperial interests.
Obama Escalates Afghan War

Disturbing but true! Nearly 15 years of US naked aggression on Afghanistan aren’t enough, America’s longest war, raging endlessly.
Obama authorized escalated US involvement - on the phony pretext of aiding Afghan forces. How far he intends going remains to be seen, waging wars in multiple theaters - endless conflicts, trillions of dollars diverted from vital homeland needs.
An unnamed senior US defense official said airstrikes will be escalated - stopping short of explaining the Afghan war was lost years ago, a grand illusion believing otherwise.

As first lady, US senator and secretary of state, Clinton waged unrestrained war on Islam, a ruthless agenda she’ll likely escalate if elected to succeed Obama.
In the 1990s, she supported husband Bill’s intermittent war and genocidal sanctions on Iraq, killing around 500,000 children, about 5,000 under aged five monthly;
As US senator, she backed George W. Bush’s naked aggression on Afghanistan and Iraq, causing millions of deaths.
As secretary of state, she bore full responsibility for war on Libya, responsible for ravaging and destroying Africa’s most developed country, turning it into an endless cauldron of violence, chaos and human misery.
Democrats Need a Conscience to Close Morality Gap with Republicans

There’s a morality gap between Democrats and Republicans with the Democrats lagging far behind. The Republican National Convention rules committee will consider a conscience clause allowing committed delegates to change their vote on the convention’s first ballot. This could unseat the morally challenged presumed nominee Donald Trump. Donald Trump received 14 million votes in Republican primaries translating to more than 1500 delegates pledged to vote for him on the first ballot at the Republican National Convention. The delegate total is 250 more than required for nomination. Trump wins, right? Maybe not.
Utah convention delegate Kendall Unruh is proposing a change in convention rules to allow delegates to change their pledged votes if that vote violates their conscience, “the guide to the rightness or wrongness of one’s behavior” that constitutes morality. Her version of the rule change is clear:

Markos Moulitsas is a CIA asset whose service to the organization, certainly after he started his popular Democratic-Party propaganda-site “Daily Kos” in 2002, has been to shape the minds not of real progressives but of liberal fools (suckers such as this, a person who believed the lies of — and supported — Hillary Clinton against Bernie Sanders) in order to boost the candidates whom the U.S. aristocracy’s Democratic-Party contingent (which comprises around 25% of the U.S. aristocracy) want to be elected in Democratic Party primaries, to run against the Republican nominee, so that regardless of which of the two Parties wins, the aristocracy remains in charge of the U.S. Government. (This function, of manipulating Democratic Party primaries, is important in order to maintain the U.S. aristocracy’s control over the Democratic Party, and not only over the Republican Party — over which they’ve long had a total lock-hold.)
