A bit optimistic in my opinion. He makes his argument and acknowledges that people are disagreeing with him about the probable outcome. But he feels strongly that there is a shred of hope, quite compelling really, if only it was true.
Interesting theory and information. Some is very useful and some not so much. You be the judge.
