The US Commerce Department has concluded that carbon and alloy steel wire rod from Russia, Belarus, and the United Arab Emirates has been dumped on the US market at unfair prices. Russian steel faces the highest tariff of 756.93 percent.
“The United States is dedicated to free, fair, and reciprocal trade with these countries, and this case was decided strictly on a full and fair assessment of the facts. The DoC is committed to protecting US companies being hurt by foreign manufacturers that refuse to play fair,” Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross said, commenting on the final results of an anti-dumping probe this year.

The airstrikes were carried out about 125 miles away from the capital city of Mogadishu at 10:30 am local time, the Pentagon said in a statement. The strike was done in coordination with Somalia's federal government. The US is not officially at war in Somalia. However, the Trump administration has recently expanded the clandestine operations that were launched by its predecessor. The US military presence in Somalia has continued to grow to 500 personnel from 200 reported in March 2017. The world's most popular cryptocurrency has surpassed $8,200 on Monday, setting another record high. Bitcoin is up almost 850 percent this year. The cryptocurrencies have also been boosted by interest from institutional investors. Goldman Sachs and Citigroup have said they are researching cryptocurrencies and the blockchain technology that underlies them and may add them to their portfolio.
In addition to the skyrocketing price of bitcoin, the total money transferred on the network per day has seen a 1000 percent surge this year and now totals $2 billion.
Bitcoin started the year just above $1,000, and the overall growth now is approaching 850 percent. The cryptocurrency’s market capitalization has reached $137 billion. That makes bitcoin more valuable than major corporations like Siemens, Mastercard, British American Tobacco or McDonald's.

The Food and Drug Administration has just approved a new pill with a digital sensor in it. Regulators in the United States have approved the first pill that can be digitally tracked as it makes its way through the human body. The Abilify MyCite aripiprazole tablets used for treating schizophrenia and manic episodes have an ingestible sensor embedded inside them that records that the medication has been taken. A patch worn by the patient transmits this information to their smartphone .Abilify MyCite features a sensor the size of a grain of sand made of silicon, copper, and magnesium. An electrical signal is activated when the sensor comes into contact with stomach acid - the sensor then passes through the body naturally.
A patch the patient wears on their left rib cage receives the signal several minutes after the pill is ingested. The patch then sends data like the time the pill was taken and the dosage to a smartphone app over Bluetooth.
The patch also records activity levels, sleeping patterns, steps taken, activity, and heart rate, and must be replaced every seven days. The patient’s doctor and up to four other people chosen by the patient, including family members, can access the information. The patient can revoke access at any time.

FBI signals criminal probe into Planned Parenthood’s trafficking of aborted baby parts
Senate Judiciary Committee, whose chairman, Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa), last December referred Planned Parenthood and several other abortion providers to the FBI for investigation after a lengthy probe into the transfers of fetal tissue.
Grassley said at the time that his committee had uncovered enough evidence in its final investigative report to show abortion providers had transferred tissue and body parts from aborted fetuses to firms for use in research by charging dollar amounts above their actual costs.
The Justice Department declined comment, saying it does not confirm nor deny whether an investigation is taking place.
It was two summers ago that the Center for Medical Progress released undercover videos allegedly showing Planned Parenthood’s illegal selling of aborted baby parts, including hearts, lungs, livers, and brains, for profit.

The European Commission (EC) is to sue Germany over the poor quality of air in its cities.
The EC will lodge its complaint with the European Court of Justice (ECJ) on December 7th, according to the report.
The Environment Ministry confirmed that “the EC has informed the German government that it will recommend legal action at a meeting on December 7th.”
If the ECJ were to rule against Germany, Berlin would face a heavy fine.
Mugabe in custody as army takes control in Zimbabwe
