American company Raytheon, manufactures the Tomahawk Cruise Missiles used in Trump’s attack on Syria. On the 7th of April Raytheon stocks jumped 1.47%. Meanwhile, US aerospace defence company Lockheed-Martin trading up .28% UK defence contractor BAE systems increased its share price a whopping 1.5% At the same time the price of Brent Crude hit its highest levels in a month. Police in the Norwegian capital of Oslo cordoned off a large section of a busy commercial street Saturday night after finding what they describe as a “bomb-like” device. The official police Twitter account said one man arrested, bomb disposal experts are on the scene.

Stockholm authorities have confirmed that one person has died in hospital and 15 are injured following the truck attack that took place outside Ahlens department store in the city. Authorities are treating the incident as a possible terrorist attack. Swedish police have issued a warning to avoid Stockholm’s city center. The US has launched 50 to 60 Tomahawk missiles against the Syrian military base near Homs after President Donald Trump ordered the strikes in response for the chemical attack in Idlib, blaming the incident on President Bashar Assad. Calling it a “targeted military strike,” Trump said the Homs airfield was where the chemical gas attack earlier this week originated from.
