Maduro said he hopes to expand the number of civilians involved in the Bolivarian militias created by the late Hugo Chavez to 500,000, up from the current 100,000, and provide each member with a gun, said it is time for Venezuelans to decide if they are “with the homeland” or against it.

Three people killed after a man went on a shooting spree in downtown Fresno, California Tuesday while shouting "God is great" in Arabic before he was taken into custody. Officers took Kori Ali Muhammad, 39, into custody in connection to the shootings.. Muhammad went by the nickname "Black Jesus" and shouted "Allahu Akbar" as police tackled him to the ground. Muhammad told police he hates white people, made posts against white people and the government on his Facebook page. All victims of the shooting rampagewere white men, Muhammad was already wanted in connection to the killing of an unarmed security guard at a Motel 6 last week.
