The Food and Drug Administration on Thursday asked a drug company to remove its opioid pain medication from the market, the first time the agency has made such a request because of the public health consequences of abuse.The agency concluded after an extensive review of Endo Pharmaceuticals’ Opana ER that the “benefits of the drug may no longer outweigh its risks.” The company reformulated the drug in 2012 to make it more difficult to snort, but the FDA said that move actually led to more injections — and a major HIV outbreak.

Trump's proposal to overhaul the U.S. food stamp program, or the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) as it's currently known, has brought with it a fee that could end up costing food retailers billions. White House wants to charge retailers that accept food stamps,known as the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program. Office of Management and Budget said the fee would be assessed when stores sign up and require renewal after five years. The budget office said the amount would depend on the size and type of retailer, the president's budget estimates the fee would generate $2.4 billion in revenue over the next decade. Russian scientists have created robots that will replace human rescuers in dangerous operations. “The development of robots is unprecedented. There are complexes that use artificial intelligence in order to carry out complex tasks where there is a risk to a rescuer’s life and health – in mines, mountains and high-rise buildings on fire," head of Russian Emergencies Ministry, Vladimir Puchko.
Boeing, the largest US exporter by dollar value, faces a tough environment for commercial jetliners. In 2016, net orders dropped 13% from 2015 and 53% from 2014, to just 668 planes, the lowest level since 2010! Through June 6, 2017, Boeing has just 208 net orders.
