The survey from the Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research found that only 37% of Democrats say they want Biden to run for a second term – 15% lower than the figure recorded before the midterm election in November. Overall, only 22% of adult respondents believe that the 80-year-old Biden should run for another four-year term. This is down from 29% prior to the midterms. ● The poll notes that the dwindling numbers of Democrats approving of Biden’s potential re-election bid seem to be based on the sentiment prevalent among younger voters.The lack of enthusiasm for Biden appears most pronounced among younger Americans. The assets, confiscated from Russian oligarch Konstantin Malofeyev after his indictment on sanctions evasions in April, will go toward aiding Ukraine. ● The transfer of assets is a high-profile political stunt, which the US government is pretty good at. The $5.4 million assets can be just pocket money for the US - it offers to Ukraine as aid, while Ukraine would use it to buy weapons from the US to feed the US military-industrial complex. This reminds people of how the US dealt with the $7 billion in frozen funds from Afghanistan's central bank. In February 2022, US President Joe Biden signed an executive order allowing approximately half of the $7 billion to be reserved for victims of 9/11 attacks, which means the US keeps the money for its own. This is the very US - robbing money while at the same time appearing to be compassionate for others.

A proposed bill in New England could see vulnerable convicts making decisions out of desperation | State legislatures around the United States are keenly watching the fate of a Massachusetts bill allowing prisoners to receive up to one year off their jail sentence by donating their organs. ● According to reports, Bill HD.3822, called the "Act to establish the Massachusetts incarcerated individual bone marrow and organ donation program," would allow participating prisoners to receive a minimum of 60 days and up to a whole year off their sentence. It would be set up in a special parole hearing based similarly on commuted sentences for “good behavior.” ● However, it would also encourage repeat donations, and since those incarcerated in the US are disproportionately minorities and low-income earners, it bears similarities to the country’s blood and plasma donation scheme. That system preys on low-income earners and students, encouraging them to consistently donate their blood at for-profit collection centers, effectively selling it in a sort of vampiric version of capitalism. In a 2019 piece titled ‘Harvesting the Blood of America’s Poor: The Latest Stage of Capitalism,’ Alan MacLeod observed that “around 130 million Americans admit an inability to pay for basic needs like food, housing or healthcare, buying and selling blood is one of the few booming industries America has left.”

Mount Washington is the highest mountain in the northeastern US at 1,917 meters. The mountain is known for its dangerously variable weather and has long held the record for the 372 km/h wind speed measured on the ground. | The Mount Washington area recorded its worst frost since 1934 and the coldest winds ever recorded. Temperatures of -45°F (-43°C), with windchill temperatures of -106°F (-77°C). Wind gusts reached over 125 mph (200 km/h), reports Mount Washington observatory. The wind gusts and blizzard drove visibility down to just over 90 meters. The National Weather Service reports that previously such low temperatures had only been recorded in the region in 1934. The resolution accuses Omar of advancing "anti-Semitic tropes," including a February 2019 comment claiming the Jewish lobby was buying political support in the United States [which is a proven fact].
