"Iran's New Voice" has risen from the united works of young Arabs, Iranians, Kurds, and Israelis.
"Iran's New Voice" is by Mideast Youth, http://www.mideastyouth.com
a student-owned independent network that has been promoting constructive dialogue and understanding within the Middle East and North Africa.
Middle East Youth are Arabs, Iranians, Kurds, and Israelis who work together on a variety of projects that advance towards moderation and interfaith understanding.
Their inspired recently released YOUTUBE video, "Iran's New Voice" is a creatively satirical news segment about a NEW Iran policy inspired by Martin Luther King, JFK, and Ghandi:
The ancient Hebrew prophets also used cutting wit and words sharper than a two edged sword to provoke their audience to thought. 21st century prophets such as Stephen Colbert, Jon Stewart and Middle East Youth use it too as they speak truth to power.
Our leaders have failed us and so, must be lead in the way they should go; equal human rights for all.
Mideast Youth -and all thinking people- comprehend that neither democracy nor liberty can be had by the barrel of a gun.
It does not "happen when tyrants are deposed or systems overturned. Liberty depends on the support of a network of institutions, many of which we do not have. At Mideast Youth, we target one aspect necessary to the development of liberty and that aspect is free speech.
"The mission of Mideast Youth can be summed up simply: human rights and freedom of expression. All of our writers are aware of the limitations on their freedoms. They know what censorship really means. They know what it means to express controversial opinions and to question commonly held opinions…We ask our writers, artists and musicians to do one thing only: Ask Hard Questions.
"In a region of the world that lacks institutionalized support for free speech, practice tolerating diverse opinions is hard to come by. Newspapers get closed, journalists are harassed and arrested, bloggers are sometimes imprisoned. Our governments do everything possible to retain control of public opinion and access to information. The internet is a place that affords the modicum of protection necessary to practice free speech." http://www.mideastyouth.com
See President Ahmadinajad and the mullahs, HEAR Martin Luther King, JFK and Ghandi, read the news scroll, then listen again to Lennon's IMAGINE:
Imagine there's no heaven
It's easy if you try
No hell below us
Above us only sky
Imagine all the people
Living for today...
Imagine there's no countries
It isn't hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion too
Imagine all the people
Living life in peace...
Yo-o-o-u,
You may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope some day you'll join us
And the world will live as one
Imagine no possesions
I wonder if you can
No need for greed or hunger
A brotherhood of man
Imagine all the people
Sharing all the world...
Yo-o-o-u,
You may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope some day you'll join us
And the world will live as one
"You're just left with yourself all the time, whatever you do anyway. You've got to get down to your own God in your own temple. It's all down to you, mate…All we are saying is give peace a chance…All you need is love…Reality leaves a lot to the imagination...Our society is run by insane people for insane objectives. I think we're being run by maniacs for maniacal ends...I believe that as soon as people want peace in the world they can have it. The only trouble is they are not aware they can get it...Imagine all the people living life in peace. You may say I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one. I hope someday you'll join us, and the world will be as one."-John Lennon
"Imagination is evidence of the Divine."-William Blake
