That might be welcomed by millions of ordinary Jews, but it's nothing short of disaster for the billionaires. They need the conflict, to justify the huge amounts of military funding they soak up. His third claim that John Kerry's father was a Jew is false. His grandfather was born a Jew and converted to become a Catholic.

It seems that your computer search skills need some improvement Philo. One of the links in here tells about how Bush visited Sharon when he was governor of Texas. All the other refer to Bush and Sharon meeting here in the US. Probably because Sharon was indicted in the Hague as a war criminal and had to be very careful about where he placed his body.

I suspect that she was well funded by them when she was seen to be in with a good chance. AIPAC has set up more than 140 PACs specifically to give money to politicians that support Israel. They need that many to get over the limits on individual donations. By using this trick they have skewed the political landscape to such an extent that it's almost inconceivable for a US politician to be critical of Israel, no matter what horrors that country unleashes.

As for Bush's ancestry, the Jewish Encyclopedia link which CelticKnight provided does not seem to me to be "gibberish", but it may well be misleading. It mentions several prominent Jewish Bushes, and says of at least one: "member of the well-known Bush family, Jewish merchants of Philadelphia". It may not have occurred to CelticKnight that there might be more than one "well-known Bush family", or that a Philadelphia family which was well known in 1906, when the Jewish Encyclopedia was published, might not be so well known in 2008.

But that is irrelevant anyway, because, as you say, having "Jewish blood" does not make one a Zionazi. I have to agree with you on that point. In fact there's no such thing as "Jewish blood". Everybody (with the possible exception of a few tribesmen in Papua New Guinea and similarly out-of-the-way spots) has some Jewish ancestors. Every Jew has some non-Jewish ancestors. Of far more relevance than the ancient history of the Bush family is their more recent development, and in particular how they obtained their fortune.

As for Bush having been to Israel, on that point I have to side with CelticKnight. He was there in January, just google it. And of the many reports I've seen, all but one were careful to state that it was his first *official Presidential* visit, or his first visit *as President*, implying that he had been there before as a private citizen, or maybe as governor of Texas. It would be remarkable if he had never been to Israel before, given that Aipac spends enormous sums on ferrying US politicians to Israel and showing them what a great job the Israelis are doing there.

If you read the Bible in detail there were NO jews until fairly late in the Bible.

There were the Hebrews and the Hebrews are NOT jews. Of the Hebrews there are 12 tribes which later become Israel. Two of the 12 tribes split off from the northern 10 tribes of Israel more than 900 years before the birth of Christ. Those were the tribes of Judah and Benjamin with a smattering of Levites. This is the birth of Judaism. The northern 10 tribes which retain the title of 'Israel' are not jews and the southern 2 tribes of Judah and Benjamin are NOT Israel.

Not everybody in the area where the southern 2 tribes settled were jews. The Romans were not jews, the Greeks were not jews. Also the sect that Jesus was from were NOT jews. The Essenes were NOT jews. Jesus was as much a rabbi as I am the pope. That is just BS and gobbledegook that has been falsely planted in peoples minds in the past few hundred years. It was commonly known in the middle ages that Jesus was NOT a jew. The ONLY similarity between Christianity and Judaism is that they both sprang from Hebrewism. The closest statement that can be made about Christ is that he was a Judean. In other words He dwelt in the land of the jews. But that no more makes him a jew than the Romans were jews OR makes the jews Israel. The ONLY similarity between Christianity and Judaism is that they both started separate from each other.

So in John 8:44 when Jesus says that the Pharisees says that they are of their father the devil he is actually saying that the jews are of their father the devil. In Matthew 27:25 when the Pharisees are standing up and taking a bow for the death of Christ they are taking a bow for all Jews.

In Revelation 2:9 where it states regarding the jews who are not jews it is referring directly of the people who call themselves jews in the world today.
