Col. (Ret.) Ann Wright to Dubya: Stop the Torture!

At a White House rally, on Dec. 10, 2007, Col. (Ret) Ann Wright sharply criticized the Bush-Cheney Gang for condoning torture around the world; and for its use of rendition (kidnapping) to send detainees to other countries that torture. She labeled the Bush Administration as a major "violator of human rights." The Code Pink organization sponsored the protest action. Col. Wright is the co-author, along with Susan Dixon, of a new book, "Dissent: Voices of Conscience." It will be released on Jan. 15, 2008.
