Basically Ralph Nader says that it needs to be easier for third parties to get on the ballet because now the two party system is shutting out other parties and candidates. From my perspective as an ordinary citizen the American election system is hopelessly rigged and hopelessly broken. I have to admire those rare people like Ralph Nader for attempting to defend and retain our tattered democracy by continuing to run against the demo-repub-corporate party. But unless we start using a paper ballet system with a physical record of the vote I don’t see much hope for Nader or a reasonable democratic candidate like Kucinich. As long as their are computer voting machines with internal phone modems, voting machines that are paperless, recordless, with no correlation between voter and vote, the American election system is a hopeless fraud, a charade. As long as this rigged system continues the American people will be led by an endless procession of corrupt puppets each more terrible than the last.
