Hold these grotesque executioners to account

The execution of Saddam may have brought "closure" to the White House, but it left a bitter taste in the mouths of the rest of us. He was executed under the auspices of an Anglo-American occupation that has brought little but death and destruction to Iraq. Even members of the Iraq Study Group in the US Senate accept that the people of Iraq are probably worse off now than under Saddam. WSWS: The execution of Saddam Hussein. Juan Cole: For Whom the Bell Tolls: Top Ten Ways the US Enabled Saddam Hussein. Nimmo/ADE: Hang ‘em High in Baghdad: the Object Lesson of Saddam’s Execution. Charlotte.com: Human rights advocates scrutinize Saddam's swift trial, execution. You Tube: SADDAM EXECUTION: Full video of Saddam’s execution reveals more than Saddam’s death. The scandalous video shows the puppets didn’t let Saddam complete his Shahada: “I testify that there is none worthy of worship except God and I testify that Muhammad is the Messenger of God”. After his execution they shouted: "Long live Muqtada, Long live Muqtada" [Moqtada Al-Sadr]. Qudspress sources inside the Green Zone said: The body of President Saddam Hussein, subjected to beatings and torture by the guards who were in charge of transportation the body. (Roads-To-Iraq) SMH: Saddam laid to rest.
