"Its main aim is to create an opportunity for thinkers who cannot express their views freely in Europe about the Holocaust." It is our firm position that the Holocaust happened, and in a BIG way. The Jewish people suffered tremendously at the hands of the cruel Nazis. 'Six million' is a number we can accept. We see no point in discussing whether a more correct number would be 6,5 or 5,5 million. Nor do we see any point in discussing the use of gas chambers vs. other methods of extermination. Finally, we see no point in discussing all of this now. True, the Zionists have gotten a lot of mileage out of all this, but the important thing now is to recognize the suffering of other peoples too, and specifically, to stop the tremendous transgressions vis-à-vis the Palestinian and Iraqi peoples. -The Jewish people seems to have completely forgotten the lessons from their own Holocaust, which is that ALL of humanity is inextricably interwoven in the fragile web of life, that we need each other, that everyone is special in his or her own way, and that we must stand together, as ONE, in this: to cherish and celebrate the sacredness of all life.
