The 66-year Anniversary of the Partition of Palestine; Providence, Miracle or What Really Happened

November 29th, 2013

By Katherine Smith, PhD

Sixty-six years ago, on November 29, 1947, the United Nations General Assembly adopted resolution 181, which partitioned the land of Palestine into two States: the “birth certificate” for Israel, and the “death certificate” for Palestine.

The Return (not the end of the Diaspora) of the Jews to their “rightful” historical homeland in 1947, and the creation of the Modern State of Israel in 1948, was the stated purpose of Zionism, a secular Jewish political movement that arose in Europe in the late 19th century.

Zionism is not to be confused with Judaism or Rothschild Zionism:

  • Zionism: an organization of Jews who believed the Jewish people needed a nation of their own to escape persecution.
  • Judaism: A religion based on the Torah and the Talmud practiced collectively by Jews.
  • Rothism or Rothschild Zionism: abbreviation for The Zionist movement corrupted and co-opted by The House of Rothschild and their agents to make sure the Jewish people had their own state in 1948 to advance a New World Order agenda. The New World Order is one of the 33 conspiracies proven to be true. [1]

The creation of the State of Israel, as it turns out, was not the silver lining around the dark cloud of desolation of two World Wars and the Holocaust. The creation of the State of Israel was a meticulous New World Order plan dating back to 1897, when a few wealthy Europeans led by the Rothschilds — not the Jewish people — wanted to create an understanding for the founding of a Jewish State. The few wealthy Europeans claimed that the “increase” in the anti-Semitism present in the World at the end of the 19th Century would end if a people collectively known as “Jews” returned to their “rightful” historical homeland in Palestine. Obamacare Restricts Choice of Hospitals and Doctors

November 29th, 2013

by Stephen Lendman

Previous articles explained Obamacare deception. It's a healthcare rationing scheme. It's a scam to enrich insurers and other major providers.

Last August, the Wall Street Journal headlined "Many Health Insurers to Limit Choices of Doctors, Hospitals," saying:

"(O)nline health-insurance marketplace(s) will present some tough choices for consumers."

Indiana University Health is the state's largest provider. Consumers are in for a rude awakening. Many will find doctors they rely on excluded from new plan options. Seeing them requires paying costs out-of-pocket.

Duty to Warn More Evidence Disputing the Official Theory that Oswald was the “Lone Assassin” of JFK

November 29th, 2013

By Gary G. Kohls, MD

It has been a frustrating couple of weeks, watching, listening and otherwise searching in vain for any balanced media coverage within the many JFK retrospectives that have been offered up on TV, radio and newspapers about the 50th anniversary of the assassination of John Fitzgerald Kennedy.

Somehow, despite the deafening silence from most every authority figure you can think of (both national and local) and the well-orchestrated cover-up about the obvious conspiracy to kill JFK, large percentages of the US public, despite the constant brain-washing attempts, still know for certain that there was a conspiracy (Definition: a plot between two or more individuals or organizations to perform an illegal act).

Thanksgiving: A National Day of Mourning

November 28th, 2013

By Robert Singer

Thanksgiving commemorates the successful harvest and the time Pilgrims gathered to give thanks. The Pilgrims shared a feast with their Native American neighbors, who had made possible their survival in the New England wilderness.

Writers and textbook publishers of American history have generally omitted or, if mentioned at all, glossed over historic accounts of genocide and inhumane treatment of American Indian populations.

The mythology of the American Revolution, the Declaration of Independence and the Bill of Rights is a national story of great significance to the way the United States views itself.

“Come, Ye Thankful People, Come” written by Henry “Dean” Alford, the gifted Christian leader of the 19th century and distinguished theologian and scholar, is considered to be one of the finest harvest and Thanksgiving hymns in all of the hymnals of christian singing.

The United States of America was founded on the fundamental principle of freedom of religion. America’s Founding Fathers and Henry “Dean” Alford believed that religious freedom and a strong democratic system were inseparable — but only for Christians.

The Native Americans worshiped the Earth instead of Jesus Christ, and according to an interpretation of the 'Bible,' they had no soul. Therefore, early settlers believed it was OK with God to break our word, steal their land and slaughter them like the other sentient creatures we torture and kill so we can get a hamburger for a dollar. “The only good Indian is a dead Indian” was the battle cry as we let nothing stand in the way of our Manifest Destiny.

Iran-US Nuclear Deal Signals A Gorbachev Moment For Rouhani

November 28th, 2013

By: Sufyan bin Uzayr

So Iran and the United States reached a deal about the nuclear stuff recently. Thus far, I have read many opinions and analyses about this historic event: Israel calls it a mistake of gigantic proportions, US and Iran are claiming it to be a step in the right direction, rest of the world is watching, commentators and experts are either happy or unhappy depending on their political stance, and so on.

As of now, it is too early to judge whether the nuclear deal between USA and Iran is a good thing to happen or a bad one. However, pros and cons aside, one thing is certain: with the new Rouhani government in place, the Islamic Republic is indeed headed towards some noticeable changes.

Ukraine Dodged a Bullet

November 28th, 2013

by Stephen Lendman

At least so far. On November 21, Ukraine abandoned an expected EU alliance. It did so in the interest of "national security," it said. It intends renewing "active dialogue" with Moscow.

EU foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton lied calling it a "disappointment for the people of Ukraine." Signing the pact "would have provided a unique opportunity," she claimed.

For the EU perhaps. Not for Ukraine. A November 28 Vilnius Eastern Partnership conference signing ceremony was planned. No longer.

Signing the deal would be disastrous for Ukraine. It dodged a bullet by refusing. It did so at the EU's expense. It did the right thing.

EU countries covet Eastern expansion. Doing so adversely affects Russian interests. It's disastrous for vulnerable populations.

Coup d'Etat Rule in Egypt

November 28th, 2013

by Stephen Lendman

On July 3, Egypt's Supreme Council of the Armed Forces (SCAF) ousted President Mohamed Morsi. Coup d'etat rule replaced him. Appointed civilian puppets represent it.

In February or March 2014, parliamentary elections are planned. In early summer, a presidential one will follow.

Does it matter? Not likely. It's back to the future. Despotic rule reflects longstanding Egyptian policy. It's been especially harsh since July.

General Abdul Fatah al-Sisi is Washington's man in Cairo. He heads SCAF. Since August 2012, he's been top commander.

He's Defense and Military Production Minister. He's a 1977 Egyptian Military Academy graduate. He got US training. He's a US War College graduate.

Undermining Geneva

November 27th, 2013

by Stephen Lendman

Washington's longstanding imperial agenda remains unchanged. In his January 2002 State of the Union address, George Bush declared Iran, Iraq and North Korea "an axis of evil."

He falsely claimed they "threaten the peace of the world." He lied saying Iran "aggressively pursues (WMDs) and exports terror, while an unelected few repress the Iranian people's hope for freedom."

Obama repeatedly said Washington will "do what we must to prevent Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon."

In recent weeks he said "we take no options off the table, including military options."

Washington doesn't negotiate in good faith. Promises made are broken. Dozens of treaties and agreements were systematically violated. Trustworthiness isn't in America's vocabulary. It never was. It's not now.

Afghanistan: Rationality Questions Insanity of War

November 27th, 2013

Mahboob A. Khawaja, PhD.

“We Are Going to Lose the War in Afghanistan and it will Help Bankrupt us. One of our major strategic blunders in Afghanistan was not to have recognized that both Great Britain and the Soviet Union attempted to pacify Afghanistan using the same military methods as ours and failed disastrously. We seem to have learned nothing from Afghanistan's modern history -- to the extent that we even know what it is. Between 1849 and 1947…..” - (Chalmers Johnson. Dismantling the Empire - America’s Last Best Hope: 8/2010).

If you ask the American leaders and few of their seasonally hired European bootlickers - what are they doing in Afghanistan other than killing the innocents and bombing the silent historic graveyards? None of them can offer a rational explanation to justify the decade old warmongering and occupation of that poor and helpless nation. Their terminology of peace and security makes no sense, out of the nonsense. Obama administration is pushing President Hamid Karzai to sign a strategic agreement enabling the US troops to stay in Afghanistan indefinitely after its planned withdrawal in 2014. Ironically, Hamid Karzai lacks legitimacy and constitutional power to do that as his terms of presidency will expire during the summer of 2014.

Rigged Honduran Elections

November 27th, 2013

by Stephen Lendman

In Honduras they're won the old-fashioned way. They're stolen.

On Sunday, presidential elections were held. Eight candidates participated. Two mattered most. Business as usual prevailed. Reports suggest fraud, intimidation and vote buying.

Activists defied state-sponsored violence. Both sides claimed victory. More on that below.

Adrienne Pine is an American University Professor of Anthropology. She's worked in Honduras. She's written about state-sponsored repression. She focuses on explaining Hondurans' longstanding struggle for justice
