There are two ways of perceiving what happens in in this video. One opinion is that all these people are really very intelligent and actually know the true value of gold. They know that there are fake gold plated coins and the coin they are being offered could be a fake. The other point of view is that these people are very ignorant and don't possess enough knowledge about gold to know weather or not they should give fifty dollars for for the coin. If you watch the video closely you will see one older man tell Mark Dice that the coin is worth $1100.. This man understands that it's all a ruse, but it's fairly obvious that the other people shown in the video are ignorant and and don't understand that the pure gold Canadian maple leaf ingot coin is real. They just don't know enough about gold and silver to make an intelligent informed decision so they play it safe and do nothing.
