General Clark testified warplans - Interview Democracy now!

February 11th, 2012

from: Ziad Shaker el-Jishi

"This is a memo that describes how we're going to take out seven countries in five years starting with Iraq, and Syria, Lebanon, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, and finishing off Iran." - U.S. General Clark 2007. According to the Nuremberg Trials, there were four major war crimes that were committed by Germany in World War Two. The first two and most egregious were:

● Participation in a common plan of conspiracy for the accomplishment of crimes against peace

● Planning, initiating and waging wars of aggression and other crimes against peace

Germany's Planned campaign of invasion against Europe was considered the embodiment of war crime itself by the civilized world at that time. Tragically at this time in history, unprovoked invasion, mass murder, torture, and the looting of national resources is completely acceptable. The American people are proud of their government's actions and want more invasions and criminal wars. This is reflected in the popularity of the pro war republican candidates running for the office of president.

February 11th, 2012

from: Bill Hughes

On February 7, 2012, I interviewed Dr. Helena Hicks at her home in West Baltimore. She discussed her role in the historic 1955 Civil Rights sit-in at Reads Drug Store, at Howard & Lexington Streets. At the time, Dr. Hicks was a senior at Morgan State College. Special thanks to Sharon Black and Rev. Cortly CD Witherspoon for arranging the interview.
