Are you concerned about radiation from Fukushima Nuclear Power Plant reaching the U.S.? A Ukrainian girl who lived just 40 miles from Chernobyl is sharing her insights and observations about the nuclear accident aftermath. Please don't be fooled by any reports stating that radiation levels in the U.S. are not harmful. The girl is explaining the difference between natural background radiation and dangerous human made radiation coming from nuclear power plants, nuclear bombs, x-rays, ct scans, etc. Even minuscule amounts of this dangerous radiation is harmful to humans and eventually leads to cancer, premature aging and other health problems. Radiation emitted from crippled nuclear reactors is not just limited to the vicinity of that reactor. It is distributed for thousands of miles with the wind, and the emissions from Fukushima are not over yet. Protect your health. Be informed about negative health effects caused by ANY level of ionizing radiation.
There is a new radiation alert in Japan, radioactivity in one if Japan's Fukushima plant is 10 million times the normal level. Fresh radiation fears have emerged in reactor 2 of the Fukushima nuclear plant.

On Thursday evening, March 24, 2011, a rally was held at the Inner Harbor, in Baltimore, MD. Its focus was to “stop the war on Libya.” The demonstration was sponsored by the ANSWER Coalition. To learn more about this issue, go to: http://warisacrime.org/content/stop-bombing-libya
Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi vowed to fight until the end, as he made his first public appearance since the international allied operation began on Saturday. Gaddafi said his troops will be victorious in what he called a "crusader battle" - his address preceded a fourth night of air strikes.
The signs are everywhere for those with eyes to see and ears to hear. But precious few will heed the call. Now Liberty breathes its last gasp. All these are the beginnings of sorrows.
Amid the ongoing coalitional bombardment of Libya it turns out President Obama may have had no constitutional authority for ordering US military involvement. US Rep. from Ohio Dennis Kucinixh says the use of US armed forces is unconstitutional, explaining Obama had no authority to commit US resources without congressional approval. The US now finds itself involved into another war in addition to Pakistan, Iraq and Afghanistan. 'Bombing villages in order to save villages' -- that didn't work in Vietnam, Kucinich explained. In fact, he argued this time around the Libyan intervention could end up strengthening US enemies.
Friday on The Big Picture it was "Conversations with Great Minds." Thom Hartmann welcomed Ian Fletcher, Senior Economist at the Coalition for a Prosperous America. They discussed the major problems with free trade in America. And are you ready to rumble about the biggest stories of the week? Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker signed his union busting bill without any Democrats present. Will legal action follow? Also will mainstream corporate media ever talk about the problems of corporate control in America? Plus, did Peter King's witch hunt hearings accomplish anything? Thom hosted a panel discussion with Jamie Weinstein, Deputy Editor at the The Daily Caller, Jimmy LaSalvia, Executive Director of GOProud and Bill Press, Host of The "Bill Press Show".

Ian Fletcher is Senior Economist of the Coalition for a Prosperous America, a nationwide grass-roots organization dedicated to fixing America’s trade policies and comprising representatives from business, agriculture, and labor.
