"Kari Lydersen has penned an absorbing book, “Revolt on Goose Island.” It chronicles how 250 members of the UE, a progressive union, occupied a factory, “Republic Windows,” in Dec., 2008, located in Chicago, IL, rather then just meekly submit to its closing. It’s labor history at its best. This “direct action” came not long after AFL-CIO labor leader Richard L. Trumka denounced the evils of “globalization,” and the predatory schemes of the Wall Street boy-ohs. Ms. Lydersen’s “Book Talk” event was held at Red Emma’s Coffee House, a worker-owned store, in Baltimore, MD, on April 9, 2010."

"On the evening of Jan. 27, 2010, Rep. Ron Paul (R-TX) spoke, in Baltimore, MD, before a capacity audience at Loyola University Maryland. He addressed a wide range of important issues, including: Civil Liberties, Civil Disobedience, the CIA’s assassination policy, torture, rendition, secret prisons, Enemy Combatants, the ancient Writ of Habeas Corpus, President Barack Obama’s White House and the 2nd and 10th Amendments of the U.S. Constitution. Rep. Paul also expressed his growing fears, post-9/11, for our fast-fading Republic itself. He added that the current critical situation in the country is compounded by the endless wars; and also by the shaky economic and monetary systems; which have been ineptly crafted and dominated by the Wall Street Banksters and “The Fed.” Rep. Paul urged the U.S. Congress to pass a law authorizing the auditing of “The Fed.” It is currently a privately-owned institution, unaccountable to the people."
A very interesting little video clip. It shows us how close we came to utopia and an end to wars fought for the rich and powerful. They couldn’t let it happen, they couldn’t let us be free. Throughout time all those who have attempted to free humanity from exploitation have been destroyed. The American government is in possession of Tessa’s broadcast power technology and many other wonderful inventions. These power sources are clean and non-polluting, but the evil corporate financial elite will not let humanity have them and seek to keep humanity enslaved and beholding to them for all our needs. Our masters haven’t been taking very good care of humanity because some twenty thousand children die of starvation each day on this earth. Our masters have mountains of wealth for themselves, live in palatial mansions, own fleets of plains, garages full of cars, have hundreds of servants, consume only the cleanest purest food and water, and enjoy the highest quality medical care and life extension technologies. The rest of humanity is starving and dieing by the millions in wars fought for corporations, banksters, military industrialists, special interests, and their puppet politicians. They are mass murdering plants, animals, humans and our ecosystem for power and profit. Humanity is being robbed of utopia and the unlimited bounty and freedom the earth could provide for all.
