I think that my readers will agree that there is a desperate need for some fresh thinking about money in the U.S. Many respected analysts worry that the expected action by the Fed to apply a new bout of QE after the coming elections is fraught with danger. Fiat money in the US is in an advanced stage of decomposition and when money rots, the whole social, economic and political structure of the nation rots with it. A return to sound money is urgent. American forces decapitated an Iraqi last year on the order of their higher-up, show recently-exposed US military documents. The troops operated under the command of an unnamed US major, who had been involved in the rape of an Iraqi female, showed one such document posted on the whistleblower website WikiLeaks. The incident took place after the victim, the brother of the raped female, reportedly killed a military official in reprisal for the indecent assault.

WASHINGTON – The American Civil Liberties Union and its three California affiliates today sent a letter to U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder and Gil Kerlikowske, Director of the Office of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP), arguing that there would be no legal basis for the Department of Justice (DOJ) to sue to overturn Proposition 19 should it be approved next month by California voters, and urging the Justice Department to not change its current law enforcement focus on major criminal activity in favor of new enforcement activities against California marijuana users.
