US opposes Iraqi popular vote on troop withdrawal

An Iraqi national referendum on last year’s security pact with the US is currently scheduled to take place on July 30. According to Iraqi law, if voters reject the pact, which calls for the US to remove all troops by December 31, 2011, Washington would have to remove its military 17 months sooner—by July 30 of 2010. Should the vote be held as scheduled, it is a virtual certainty that the Iraqi masses will repudiate the pact. Washington, of course, has no intention of obeying any popular referendum.

Several leaders of a group which supported defeated Iranian presidential candidate Mir Hossein Mousavi have been detained following violent protests over the results of Friday's presidential election. Thousands of Iranians took to the streets of Tehran, fighting running battles with riot police, after Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, the conservative incumbent, was declared the winner of the polls. Let's be honest -this result smells like rotten fish in a freezer...official figures show that Ahmadinejad won some 62.6% of the vote in an election marked by a high turnout of 85%. These are very high numbers for a democracy. We don't think Iran is a democracy. It's an oligarchy -a country run by a small number of people. These people happen to be a caste of Mullahs, which means that Iran is a theocracy as well. They need a figurehead for their secular government. Ahmadinejad fits the bill. So the vote is rigged. This election is another tragedy for the people of Iran. Informed Comment: STEALING THE IRANIAN ELECTION. President Obama's special envoy to the Persian Gulf region, Dennis Ross, was paid $106,000 last year for appearing on Fox News TV programs, according to his amended disclosure, filed thanks to the persistence of USA TODAY reporter Ken Dilanian. The amount brought Ross' 2008 annual income to $924,000. Ross, who has worked as a diplomat for Presidents George H.W. Bush and Bill Clinton, was a private citizen at the time. The bulk of his income came from paid speeches. PulseMedia / TPV: Talking to Iran will make it “easier to sell” war on Iran, says man responsible for talking to Iran.

The man, Obama, is an infiltrated foreign agent of the banker-owned communist conspiracy and his Chief of Staff is a sociopathic Mossad agent, personally responsible for many political killings during the Clinton administration. He can't take the risk of a midshipman having found that out from someone and deciding -- for country and Constitution -- 'going von Brunn.' That's my theory. What's yours? An article published in U.S. News & World Report (originally written by the Society for Science and the Public) quotes a couple of psychologists, one sociologist and one historian to argue that people who question the government's version of 9/11 are prone to false thinking. Translation: politically incorrect thinking. -First these psychologists helped Bush torture people in Guantánamo, then they shifted to helping Obama do the same, and now they're taking a long, hard look at you and me. -What a corrupt bunch of creatures they are!
