In a truly astonishing betrayal of public safety (even for the FDA), the U.S. Food and Drug Administration today revoked its warning about mercury in fish, saying that eating mercury-contaminated fish no longer poses any health threat to children, pregnant women, nursing mothers and infants. These Bushites in the FDA are all going to Hell, but not before they cause great human suffering and great harm to America. When statements and decisions this devoid of morality, driven only by corporate greed take place in government, that government no longer cares about the lives of it’s people nor their future. Such a government and country is hopelessly misguided, lost, broken and could soon collapse.
