A Petition for Writ of Habeas Corpus was filed with the Supreme Court of the State of Alaska on 20 December 2011 and accepted by the Clerk of Appellate Courts on 10 January 2012 in response to the "indefinite detention without trial of American citizens" provisions of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA 2012) by Ms. Anna M.
